I would say Question #17 should be talked about but not many copies on feebay and appears to be a hard book to find in high grade. I don't always agree with bleeding cool but very interesting.

I am just glad that people will pay attention to one of the greatest series of the 80's. The Question is soo good and nobody cared.
Also bringing back a character like Vic would be great, he is so much better as the Question than Renee

Blue Beetle 1- I have been waiting for the return of the real Ted Kord for quite some time. There have been one offs in Booster Gold and we had teenager Kord in New 52 but this is kinda like the Ted of old. Kinda in that we don't have his full back story yet so we don't know how he fits into the whole Blue Beetle mythos yet.
Jamie Reyes is a problem for me. I would like to have my heroes a little less whiney and a little more into it. I know the plot is calling for this set up between Kord an Reyes to be similar to Batman Beyond but I don't like Jamie.
I really wish Ted had a book by himself that dealt with a hero that somtimes is out of shape, has heart issues, has a crush on ORACLE GRRRRRRRR and still wants to be a hero.

That Moon Knight on BP 22 cover is horribly drawn

How about Hellblazer 27?

Is this thread only for people who don't own comics for sale?
No. This is a thread about literal nonsense, where grown men debate there opinions. It no longer has anything to do with comics heating up. Google+ is now miles ahead of this thread, which is crayy
I thought Google+ was where I could buy "cool" shirts and "cool" variants?
No. Its where people actually talk about comics heating up.
This thread sucks now. Gone are the days of this thread giving vital comic book heating up information.
To each their own, the Google+ sites to me don't offer that much in new information.
As far as bickering and such, there seems to be as much as here. On Larry's site there is Larry getting bent out of shape over someone saying they hate D-Man. It seems very similar in fact to here.

Thanks RM, that Gretsch is a country Jr.., which was not in production very long. Same body style as a double cut jet but with the country setup including filtertron pickups. I saw Johnny Irion play one and fell in love, I used to have a gretsch Malcolm young model that I miss.
I want a full cab orange ac-30 but it would break my walls

Who is your best baseball ? Are they modern or old timers ?
There is. Ralph Kiner, Mazeroski and Stargell auto ball with auto cards and a clemente cut sig on the second shelf first horizontal card.
I have a few T206's of pirates and a lot of Aaron and Mays graded cards

I can't draw feet but nipples, I am all good

I had some issues with the story. I think they were going for something emotional at the end of the issue and I just couldn't care because we know nothing about one of the main characters by that point.
A good writer should know when they can pull the emo strings and this was definitely premature in the story to try and do so. That just made me jump out of the book and not really want to continue. I don't like to be pandered too and felt the writer was on autopilot.
Secondly its not that new of a concept to me anyway as it reminded me a lot of Ghost in the Shell set in Escape from LA.
Third, the in jokes and self referential humor found in the web articles etc. just took me out of the story.

Maybe the market is realizing that 99% of these TV and Movie deals never pan out and the ones that do don't affect comic prices as much as they used to.
Look at prices of two relatively good TV shows like The Strain and I Zombie and the recent prices of those books. If you bought in early during the hype you are left holding the bag.
Same way for Big Hero Six, selling for much lower than pre movie hype and even then it wasn't selling all that high. For such a good movie based on Comic that is kinda shocking.

The ASM Silk variant really seems rare at 5 Below. Mine had a bunch of and tons of DC books

The Stuff of Legend FCBD has been steadily rising.
Wow, yeah.. Just wait until the movie hits. This book will be highly sought after I'm thinking.
If you already have it, you're sitting pretty. If you paid that price, just remember Big Hero 6

I went to one in Saratoga Springs area near the Wilton Mall and it was all junk.

Yep. I've read that they are rebooting or at least starting over at #1 for all titles. Does anyone know if this is true ?
A complete reboot? Reminds of the New 52 by DC
So far Secret Wars has been NOTHING like the New 52.
Marvel is embracing their characters history & creating solid continuity to allow a new entry point for a new generation.
I love it.
Isn't that the same excuse for every new #1 from Marvel Now to the All New Marvel Now? I wonder how long that new entry point gimmick will last. Spider-Gwen was on #5 wasn't it and now its getting another #1? Totally unnecessary IMO.
This kind of thing, rebooting series so quickly or starting them right before a reboot does show to me that Marvel is winging this thing to a certain extent.
I don't believe they had a master plan involved in setting up this event outside of the main series. I think at least DC had a plan for every title before rebooting.

You don't need to buy an entire Avengers series, there is a "Prelude to Secret Wars" TPB available that gives you all you need to catch up.
Secret Wars is shaping the future of the Marvel Universe without the Hand Wave that DC did, and it still counts all previous history as Continuity.
Great thanks, and does Future Imperfect fit in with it as well?

I will preface it by saying I was burned out on all the recent reboots that I haven't touched Convergence or Secret Wars. I have been looking at reviews and other comic fans who I trust and the reviews are not that great for SW and horribad for Convergence.
The problem I see with trying to read it casually is that it appears I need to buy some prior Avengers series to know what is happening, is there an actual reading list to get the whole story???
Final Crisis really upset me because I didn't buy that one Superman side series that basically made the whole thing kinda make sense so I was clueless at the end of the series and had to rely on the internet to fill in the details.

I don't give Marvel or DC any credit for this "diversity" kick. They all know that once the revert back to the original "white" version of these heroes they will make it a huge event and sell even more comics.

There is 0% chance they don't go overboard on these and fatigue everyone

Down amongst the dead men is a also the title of a great album by Lord Weird Slough Feg

Sleepwalker has always been my go to book.
You know. The book that you could say that it would never rise from the ashes like a Phoenix, and catch fire.
Now I need to find a new book.
Very nice pick (thumbs u
I am partial to US-1 being the most uncollectable comic ever.

Is it true that Gaiman won't sign comics anymore? I missed him in Saratoga Springs last year

Axe Cop kinda feels like a Chew rip-off (art design and quirkiness).
Patrick
Izombie preview is actually very similar to Chew for the CW.
1. She eats brains and gains memories
2. Uses memories to help solve crimes

So that villain really has eyeballs holding his cape on? Seems like they would get messy after a few days.

Anyone listen to the Audible full cast version of Locke & Key?
