  1. Just an impressive book and cover. No doubt one of the better signatures out there. I am no Jedi indeed…..
  2. Perfect, been on the receiving end of that as well. It’s why I tend to commission front and back pieces if money allows. Rubenstein is quite liberal with the ink and notorious for inked up back covers. Nonetheless. awesome book
  3. Could be either or depending on how the submission form was filled out. I have been on the receiving end of this error from CGC with the correct signature series submission form.
  4. Kudos to @kevlar for facilitating RICC and getting Jared and Genevieve Padalecki…..
  5. Hope everyone has a “Supernatural” weekend. Huge fan of the show so had to take advantage of this opportunity and, of course, Ash did not disappoint with this Sam/Ruby combo and real life husband and wife Jared/Genevieve Padalecki. I went with black eyes for Ruby (demons have black eyes in the show for non fans)….
  6. These he sent directly to CGC under my account with proper creator agreement and submission form, he does not have an artist account. For celebrity signatures, Ash would send directly to the facilitator of the show/signing.
  7. Ash is a personal friend and can be found on instagram @fineartbyash. Depends on workload but most of these were done over a week period. I have seen him turnover masterful works in under 24hrs and sometimes it takes a few weeks.
  8. This is an oldie but added the Superman 78 this year and can now say display is compete…..
  9. I have two large Ash oil paintings that I am going to get signed along with a mask. I am probably going to get this book signed from some time ago that he competed for me on back…….the others will be in the Hugh Jackman shrine.
  10. I will probably get one signed but don't have that kind of cash to get them all signed.
  11. I’ll spare everyone the suspense on when I would post my first Ash sketch. I’m not saying he knocked it out of the park on these, well….he knocked it out of the park and on Wolverine Wednesday. Ode to Hugh Jackman……
  12. Where does the time go? Another year in the books and a new one ahead of us. We lost some big names this year but it was nice to see this group pay tribute to the ones that came before and still capture our imagination. Despite the losses it was another good year for this group. The art was outstanding, the character selection diverse, and the ideas creative. I am honored to be a part of this group, fellow collectors appreciative of ALL art in all of its many iterations, colors and strokes. So, we forge ahead to 2023! I hope this thread continues to provide fellowship, find new collectors, and provide a place to display your art. Big, small, simple, complex, weird....all are welcome! Without further ado.......
  13. Dropping these last two for 2022 by Douglas Price. Love the mirror affect that he seems to have mastered and the homage. He is working on a Silver Surfer for me with the mirror/reflective medium.
  14. Be on the lookout tomorrow for 2023 sketch cover thread. I’ll be creating it tomorrow to get a jump start on the new year and because this old man is not making it to midnight
  15. I’ll add to Ron’s lovely lady with a little Magik of my own courtesy of @Par2ch…..
  16. The usual rules apply: -No probies, HOS, etc -Paypal preferred -Free Shipping within the US. Worldwide buyers are welcome and costs will be based on location. -Returns are generally not accepted due to books being CGC graded, but can be discussed if needed. $300 or best offer. 17. Luis Bravo on this Wolverine Wednesday…..
  18. Right place, right time for this one. Pairs well with Lobo #1 cover.
  19. Almost started a coolest wife thread with this unexpected Christmas gift. The wife really knows how to round out a Kevin Conroy display with this batmobile. Have a few more Conroy sketches to pull out but grabbed a few to play with display ideas…..
  20. I don’t count anyone out anymore, I hope so
  21. Ash killing it like always. Actually liked Black Adam and especially Pierce Brosnan’s portrayal of Dr. Fate, this one is destined for signatures…..
