  1. I do believe that is the best color strike I have ever seen on any copy of this book. Sure it’s got that small crease BRFC - but look at that deep deep blue! It’s so robust it almost looks black. G-damn. Your raw books man…so many gems . @Corvonie @flying_bison - check this thing out!
  2. and I’ll take this too please - really surprised this story didn’t earn itself a take already. The premise is too good to resist …I gotta read it.
  3. The "Tales of the Marines" book is just priceless. Reminds me of Bill Mauldin's take on war (I'm now reading his 1945 book "Up Front" thanks to the solid rec from @sfcityduck).
  4. I wasn’t sure how many more minutes I could hold out myself on that one. That is one beautiful War cover
  5. I love how he felt the need to clarify: “inks”. Very on brand
  6. Actually - MAJOR edit: I'm staying out of this (for once).
  7. You are going to have to carve out some MAJOR time for reading all these bad boys. Perhaps call it "The 2024 Goldie Challenge"
  8. My favorite book of your entire thread too - feel like a lucky, lucky ducky
  9. "TheComicsPreacher - Selflessly Keeping OTHER Boardies' Retirement Accts Safe and Secure since 2014..."
  10. ah hell...I keep staring at the damn thing...I can't resist anymore.
  11. I have to agree this one is REALLY cool...somebody really ought to snag it.
  12. Well …you are doing a heck of a job . Really. And bringing all sorts of old time boardies out of the woodwork, to boot. I went “backwards” with learning about Sinnott. First “big” signed book I ever bought was FF5, signed by him. To this day, I still think the best FF art is Sinnott inks on Kirby pencils. It was only later I started reading his Atlas stuff.
  13. Heh heh - was attempting sarcasm (fail), but this is way better. Gorgeous
