Hoping to draw on your awesome expertise to get some eyes on this copy of Batman 222. Absolutely love the book and delighted to have it in the collection, curious as to your collective wisdom on where it may sit. Considering a C&P but aware that won't deal with a lot of what's evident.

So other than a couple of tics on the front spine in the middle all I really see is a little mark on the back upper right corner area...I don't know what that is ...it's smooth to touch

Not really a slab candidate, but the first copy to come up for auction that wasn't in complete tatters or priced an order of magnitude above its FMV. Got it pretty cheap. Roy Thomas's first Marvel work.
My notes of less obvious defects: there is some significant reader creasing along the spine, possibly contributed to by the staple placement. There's a stacking bend/spine roll. It's a little strange b/c it doesn't look like the pages could be squared by just trying to press out the roll.  There are some staple tears around the centerfold, but it's still firmly attached (but I won't be tugging on it too hard; TWSS).

Anything I’m remotely interested in gets a tracking bid.  They stay in the CL system.  You can go back years later and track the pricing history of pieces.
