And there is the problem. At this stage that is the one price of advice you should be taking. Why do you think you shouldn't take this advice?

Questions:

Is the owner still interested 3 days later?

Will the owner still be interested in it now? (Was he aware it was 8.0 not 8.5?)

Will the owner trust any book Gabe says he has for sale?

Can you burn a bridge before it is built?

Getting closer to Christmas with every day. Been weird a year with no Doctor.

Bought myself this storyboard page last week.

Anybody going to watch 'Class'? It's just finished shooting and Mike Collins (who works on the storyboards) described it as a cross between Buffy and Torchwood.

There is a monthly comic mart held near Russell Square which is pretty decent

Is this hike-able from which Tube station? I will be in London, UK the week of Sept 18/16. Do most collectors pay the 5 Pounds to enter at 11 a.m. rather than wait for free general admission at noon? With 130 tables, will there be some original comic art for sale?

From Russel Square tube it is a short wall down the side of the park to the hotel. Usually 3 fairly big stands, Incognito being one of them, with a bunch of satellite ones selling similar, and then the usual array of . I've never paid the £5, but have arrived dead on 12pm to see a fair few people inside. I've never seen any OA there.

Just been in Orbital and they seem to have a folder of Dark Knight original art. As people have said 30th century have a lot, although a lot are pence variants. Mega City Comics also seem to have a fair selection in Camden.

Wish they were more comics orientated. I don't read a lot of series, but that's because I'm not so much into superhero comics.

Preordered 'Hadrian's Wall' (a space station, cold war, locked room murder mystery) and Britannia (a Roman detective miniseries). Might get into more if more UK cons focused on comics.

Going to Thought Bubble in November, going to look for some indie stuff while there.

Anyone else going to any UK cons? I have at least 4 on my list for the rest of this year.

So LFCC was a lot of fun, although very tiring. I managed to get a sketch by Todd Nauck, which was a minor miracle as he only takes 4 per day and you have to be quick to get in his queue (I was 3rd).

I wish. Loads that I want to go to over here though. Might save for next year, that is if there isn't a referendum to leave the Earth and the £ is only good on Mars.

I am sending my bro with a shopping list though.

Bugger. It's the next best thing this year to NYCC for me. I got a 4-day pass for my bro, but unfortunately I am starting a PhD 3 weeks before and I can't justify spending my whole stipend payment on a comic con.

Yeah, I'm relatively close to London Olympia, plus I am going for a few artists and the day out. Might get a photo with Paul McGann though.

Picked up these connecting covers from Mike Collins who works on the Titan Comics series and storyboards for the TV show

I was only going to pick up the 9th Doctor one, but then my girlfriend convinced me that they shouldn't be split up.

Quite funny that they are all on templates for the 11th Doctor comics. Forgot to ask why, i guess that that was what he had at the time.

Not posted around here in a while but the comic/DW room is coming along, with other stuff mixed in.

The four A3 covers are set by Mike Collins coming out soon for the DW comics

Added a few more, plus a Gallifreyan carving. Looking to add a cabinet to my room soon to display some other things.

I don't subscribe to GPA analysis as it holds very little interest to me since I don't slab comics or collect expensive ones, but would anyone be able to pull the data for me on the Spider-Man 667 Variant?

There are only 5 sales on GPA.

 

Last 9.8 sale was for $1100 in May 2013.

 

Last 9.6 sale was for $1600 in November 2014 (last sale overall as well).

I'm thinking of going for a wall decal. Soon I will have something carved to go in the gap.

Not so much a room, but it is getting there.

More to put up and there is something to go in the centre space. Good thing is there is no direct sunlight on that wall, and the curtains and closed most of the time as there is enough light coming in. Still need to add framing board around them and put them in Mylites.
