We just wanted to remind everyone that our Summer Featured Auction OA session closes tonight (Wednesday, 9/6) starting at 8 PM ET (5 PT). Imaged below are just some of the many great highlights including the classic John Romita cover to Amazing Spider-Man #71 with Spidey vs. Quicksilver. You'll also find the Wally Wood page 1 title splash to Daredevil #5. This is Wood's earliest DD work and the first time Daredevil's chest insignia went from a single 'D' to the now iconic 'Double D'! There are also two fantastic Barry Windsor-Smith pieces including his 1977 painting "The Book of Samothrace" and the 1971 cover to Conan the Barbarian #5. The ComicLink Focused Auction underway begins closing today, Monday, 3/20 at 8 PM Eastern (5 Pacific). It's hard to sum up the incredible impact on my life that my love for George Perez and Neal Adams has had over the past 47 years. That love helped me to make it through some difficult years as an awkward teenager. Later, that love connected me to a community where I met some of my most treasured friends. In recent years it has given me a sense of financial security, an amazing career that I love and a beautiful home. I'm blessed to have original works by my idols cross my desk on a regular basis and to have the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for their game-changing work with other collectors.
Thank you gentlemen from the bottom of my heart. You did good.
