    Interesting. It's going to be a crazy world when these counterfeits become exact duplicates. Then cgc slabs that were graded before a certain date could become more valuable.

    Confirmed. My slab has been graded twice now. Both times a 9.8. Guess they don't ding that defect much if at all.

    It is interesting that a Cerebus 1 cgc 6.0 sold for $4500. Seems unusually strong for that book.

    Just to follow up. It seems like these are considered to be manufacturing defects. CGC kindly told me to send this book in for review and it seems like they have already sent it back without any response. My assumption is that it stayed a 9.8. Will confirm next week when I get it back. Btw, comiclink never responded to my 3 emails about this.
