    There are no rules as to which 1st appearance book (cameo vs full appearance vs cover appearance vs whatever) becomes the major key that everyone covets. The market is irrational. There are tons of old threads in these forums arguing this same issue over and over.

    Yes, they are but X-men 94-144 are still superb.

    Yes, I played on the ps3 and remember them. You also had to double tap the head to kill them. This is the ps4 or ps5 version that was remade.

    If someone can't afford GSX1, then X94 is a good alternative. Better something than nothing. If someone who had deep pockets and buys a GSX1, X94 is next. If someone is a run collector instead of a key collector then X-men 94 to 144 becomes their focus. And X-94 is the most expensive book of that run.

    I mean Cerebus will become public domain once Sims passes. who knows what will happen. But still, 2000 copies is not much at all. two thousand. (and who knows how many have been lost with time) Heck, someone could even corner the market and buy every copy if they wanted. Compare that to the number of hulk 181s. It would not take much demand to keep the price elevated. I mean, how many copies of Cerebus 1 have you ever seen in the wild? I've never seen one.

    X-94 was Chris Claremont 's first work on the Xmen run. For many of us, he was the beginning of the X-men magic that spanned for a long time. I don't agree it's overrated. The market is efficient. It is priced at where people value it.
