You can do it right here on the boards. However,:rulez:This is for book listings only.

Watch another listing here. One of the successful one's of course and it will give you a template of what to do and how to do it.

Selling here will save you up to 20% over something like eBay.

Thanks for your diligence to the board's rules. Where would one post an inquiry like mine?

  2. Hello,

I have been trying to thin out my collection lately and realize that I have a lot that I am willing to let go of.

I probably have 7 boxes of NM moderns all bagged and boarded. Full and partial runs, some individual issues. Mostly Marvel and DC stuff from the last 10 years or so.

I also have probably 80 graphic novels consisting of trade paperbacks, hardcovers, and some omnibus. Some of the HC and Omni are still sealed, and 95% are in like-new condition with typical shelf wear.

I do sell stuff online, but think it would take too much time to list all of these individually, and not sure when or if I will have time to take pictures and list all of these.

Checking to see if anyone has any recommendations for selling collections in bulk. Has anyone had any luck? I figure a comic shape A.) Probably doesn't want to buy a larger collection of new stuff (even though a lot of the graphic novels are out of print), B.) even if they did, I imagine they would literally give you pennies on the dollar.

Anyways, just curious if anyone had any recommendations.

    Thanks

  3. Hello,

Had a question and wondering if anyone knows the answer.

I saw that Ghost Machine released variant copies of some of their comics at NYCC recenlty.

I am unclear as to what is in these issues.

1.) Redcoat #1 NYCC Variant: Is this a reprint of the Redcoat material from the Geiger 80 page special, or an advance copy of the ongoing series that comes out next Spring?

2.) Geiger #1 NYCC Variant: Is this a reprint of Geiger #1 from the previously released miniseries, OR an advance copy of Geiger Ground Zero #1 that comes out next month (Which I doubt since it doesnt say ground zero) OR an advance copy of the ongoing Geiger series from next Spring?

3.) Junkyard Joe #1 NYCC Variant: Is this a reprint of Junkyard Joe #1 from the previously released miniseries, or maybe a reprint of his first appearance from the Geiger series?

Anyways, would love to know if anyone has cracked one open to actually see what is inside.

How has Geiger been and is it worth hunting down the first series? Why did they stop the first series and then make some mini-series with Junkyard Joe and then now we are getting this larger shared universe.

Does the main first series just introduce the main character and junkyard Joe as the main characters?

I agree with Gonzimodo's response above. Geiger and Junkyard Joe were both ok. Not my favorite of John's work, but still good and worth reading. The art is obviously stunning. I would think they are just slowly building the characters and I have hope for what may come out of this shared world, especially with the rest of the creative team for Ghost Machine that they have now signed on. I would recommend grabbing the trades for both since they are pretty cheap. I would also highly recommend getting the Geiger 80-page special, and reading that in between the Geiger and Junkyard Joe trades. It has a cool introduction to the Redcoat character that Geoff Johns and Bryan Hitch are doing which was very intriguing.

Man....I'm super excited for the new Ghost Machine titles, BUT I am bummed if he is really leaving DC. His recent Stargirl series and current Justice Society series are the best things I've read from DC in a long while. Really wanted to see him continue that narrative with Justice Society and now Young Justice Society, and really wanted to see more of Justice Society Dark. His New Golden Age initiative has been hitting hard for me. I am super skeptical of anyone else being able to have the vision and storytelling ability to continue what he began. Was also really hoping for a return of the Retro-boot Legion of Super-Heroes, which some of his images seemed to hint at.

Thanks. It's a great read and think the dialogue makes even the talking head pages great pieces too.
These are the pieces I have at the moment from the regular series (would love to add more to anyone reading).

This is an interesting piece and is the logo design to the series. It was used for the first 24 issues of the series which concluded the story from the mini.

This is awesome! Always liked this logo.

I really enjoyed the storyline from this four-issue mini and since I have some pages from the series after that continued the storyline I thought I should try to add something from it. Please let me know if you have something from it and would be interested in selling or hearing an offer for it, thanks.

Good luck on finding these! I just read the series recently prior to making my way through ongoing series that followed. Love to see your pages from the ongoing series if you have them posted.
