  1. was poking around eBay to upgarde about 5-6 months ago- an 8.0 or 8.5 and they were $750-1k. Now it seems an 8.0-8.5 is $1,600-2k. what the heck happened while I was sleeping?
  2. I worked on a movie called Peacemaker in maybe 1988 or 1989. Low budget turd! Is this HBO thing a remake of that POS?
  3. I always though the first appearance of Bullseye was in DD 131 but some guy in the sales thread says the first appearance of Bullseye is in the Nick Fury he be selling. Something nefarious is going on around here; a murder most foul!
  4. Hey Pal! Thanks for being on the lookout. A "one sheet" is the advertising for the movie you would see hanging in the movie theater lobby, outside the heater, etc. While the above is a copy of the Mexican one sheet, it's been reduced for a Mexican dvd.
  5. los budget. well done. 16mm. b&w. rough around the edges. no CGI. eerie organ soundtrack. one person's vision as opposed to a committee of visions. nifty twilight zone o'henry ending.
  6. That's far-out! Did he ever talk about that film? Anything?
  7. why does he hold his head/posture like that? did he have a stoke? does the documentary at anytime/anywhere proclaim "Comics aren't just for kids anymore!" ?
  8. since this is the Movie Forum I thought I would share the exciting news: after years of searching I found and purchased an original 1962 American one sheet for the film Carnival of Souls! $1,500.00 bucks! Not bad. Very Fine condition. Long ago I stopped collecting movie memorabilia for ALL the movies I liked and decided to concentrate on just one movie: Carnival of Souls. Very limited 1989 regional theatrical re-release. Original stuff for either release date hard to find. What I have: Original 1962 Danish One Sheet Original 1962 Mexican Lobby Cards (set of 7) 1 of 7 Original 1962 American Lobby Cards (Now) Original 1962 American One Sheet Original American 1989 theatrical re-release one sheet Original Video late 1980s release promo poster. Some kind of 1962 original German promo poster Original 1962 theatrical press-book Please: Let's all help NoMan complete his collection: If anyone can help me find an original 1962 Mexican one sheet, it would be much appreciated!
  9. thank you for sharing (and your honesty)
  10. I'm not the most knowledgable person in this hobby, but would a TOS 52 go for 100k?
  11. I wish some of the Fletcher Hanks issues were in the couple-hundred price range. Regardless, nice collection
  12. Damn that is weird. I'd love to see one of those dolls
  13. did this image actually come from a Marvel comic? And was it not fuzzed out?
  14. They draw comics like that for a reason. I'm not crazy. You can get with a dude if you want. It's all good. Is Bucky over 18?
  15. Crystal's fine, Bro. Janet Pym is ok, too.
  16. Who: Crystal from The Inhumans and FF. Where: Sleazy hotel on the wrong-side of the tracks in Richmond, Virginia.
  17. I had no idea Archie comics were such a powerhouse. Thanks for posting this. I believe I also read somewhere that romance comics outsold superhero comics in the 1950 (and maybe 1960s?) by a massive margin
  18. Having wasted most of my life at "Miracle Studios" in Burbank, I've got to TAKE IT! (Meaning I'm claiming this comic) How come I've never read a Marvel comic book taking place at a movie studio in Burbank?
