  1. Winner! Thanks. Anyone else? Still a few books left...make me an offer!
  2. Wow...a little late to the party, and there is not a Hulk left that I need. Well done, all.
  3. Last chance on these books. I am going to close this down today. Get me an offer on anything that’s left. Thanks.
  4. I've been to that store during my last business trip to PHX (easily the most "memorable" Uber ride I have ever had). Lots of high dollar books for sale. I grabbed a small stack of books, but nothing major. The prices were as expected for a brick and mortar. The vast majority of high dollar books were on display as photocopies only. You had to make an appointment to see the books in person (IIRC). They should give a full refund here...no question.
  5. Invoices are out...still looking for a good home for the five remaining books. I also have three books left from a previous (now closed) thread that I can post pics of if there is interest. Sports Action 15 (1952) in 4.0 - was $35, then $28, now $24 Buzzy 14 (1947) in 3.0 range - was $35, now $28 Jungle Thrills 3-D (1953), LB Cole cover but no glasses in 1.0 - was $20, then $16, now $13
  6. The thread is cleaned up, and discounts have been posted on each original listing. There are only six four books left, and only one of those that I am interested in hanging on to. Here is the summary of what is left: G.I. Jane #3, 2.0 - $225 SOLD! Hi-School Romances #41, 4.5 - $18 Hooded Menace nn, 3.5 - $250 Jumbo Comics #106, 2.0 - $22.50 SOLD! Police Comics #122, 3.5Q - $13.50 Slick Chick Comics #1, 2.5 - $90 As always, unconditional Takes reign, but send me a PM if there is something you want. I am motivated to move the rest. Thanks all.
  7. All remaining books (EXCEPT HOODED MENACE) now 10% off listed price.
  8. The second lot is a DC lot consisting of seven books. There is a little more variation in condition here. They range 2.5 or 3.0 up to about 5.0. There are some water spots, etc. Please see pics. I am happy to add more if needed. Girls' Love Stories #141, Girls' Romances #s 97, 102, 103, and 120, Heart Throbs #85, Secret Hearts #92. $21 SOLD!
  9. Charlton lot: Love Diary #43, Love And Romance #16 and Career Girl Romances #58. All three are in the 4.0 - 5.0 range. $9 SOLD!
  10. I am going to add a couple romance lots. They weren't part of the collection I bought, and they aren't golden age, but I need to clear them out, and this is as good a place to put them as any. They are going to be cheap, so they will hopefully move quickly.
  11. Winner...thanks, Gene! I think I still owe you some money. We can get it all settled up here.
  12. Last book in this set. Slick Chick Comics #1 from Leader (1947). "L.B." written lightly in pencil at the top FC. Spine has some issues, with a couple small pieces missing. Lingerie panel, and other teenage hijinx. CF detached, and a random minor tear to a couple interior margins. Nice, but it has it's issues. 2.5 (maybe 3.0?). Was $100, but now $90
  13. Super Magician Vol. 4 #2 from 1945. Flat, tight and presents nicely. Nice blacks on the cover. Overall, there are no major defects to the exterior. There is a 2+" tear to an interior page. It does not compromise the structure of the book. Call it 4.0, but would be more like 5.0 without the tear. $30 SOLD!
  14. Police Comics #122 (1952). Nice 3.5 (QUALIFIED!) book with general wear. However, there is a large piece missing from the first page (maybe 20-30% gone?)...see pic. This is nearly the end of the run for this major GA title. Not sure how much to ding it for the piece missing. Please "take" accordingly. Was $15, but now $13.50
  15. My Story #7 (1949) again from Fox. More of the same kind of stories...maybe even a bit juicier. This is another solid lower grade book. Not quite as reflective as the last, but another great red dress cover. Again with some light pencil on the right edge FC. General wear, but nothing major. All there and attached. 4.0 on this one. $185 SOLD!
  16. My Past (Confessions) #8 from 1949 by Fox. Seems to be a pretty tough book. Presents well. Dust shadows FC and BC (with some interior tanning to boot). Some light pencil writing FC. Top staple popped. Otherwise, well attached and complete. Solid book with a great red dress cover. Only 6 on the census. I want to grade this one 4.0...maybe 3.5. $150 SOLD!
