  3. That’s all I have planned for this thread. I might dig through the boxes to see if there’s anything else that fits. Shoot me an offer if the prices aren’t right.
  4. Heart Throbs #69. Looks 3.5 or 4.0, but large rectangle cut from the back and cumulative spine split of maybe four inches. Let’s go 1.0, but sure presents better in the bag. Same drill on the wear vs. aging. $5 SOLD!!
  5. Heart Throbs #68 in 4.0. Same drill on this one. Structurally pretty nice, but aging brings it down. A tiny water spot on bottom front of cover, and also on back. The last two or three pages affected slightly. Without the tanning, it’s much nicer. Ok. The weird thing is that the last eBay sale was for $80, also in 4.0. That seems.....high. I’m not going there, but I am going to go a bit higher. Shoot me an offer if you think I’m crazy. $50 SOLD!!
  6. Heart Throbs #62 in 4.5. Less wear on this one, and the aging effects to the paper are not as bad. Still some tanning, especially to interior of covers. But very flat and tight. Pretty sharp book. $25 SOLD!!
  7. Heart Throbs #59 also 3.0. A little more edge wear on this one, but still less wear than the technical grade. A water spot on back cover that goes in a couple pages only. More tanning to covers and pages. $15 SOLD!!
  8. Heart Throbs #58. Again, a flat tight and glossy copy that is done in by aging more than wear. Tanning and dust shadows to the covers, some moisture dots on the back cover. Pages also show age, but at pretty supple. Let’s go with 3.0, but certainly presents much better. $15 SOLD!!
  9. Sorry. Fell asleep shortly after that post. Too much wine.
  10. That’s it on the war books. Anyone interested in the Heart Throbs tonight?
  11. True War Experiences #3, Harvey, 1952. This one is 4.5. The tear at the top hurts it. Cool cover, good gloss, some spine roll, some interior staining to some of the pages, nice copy. Was $20, now $15!
  12. Man Comics #25, Atlas, 1953. This one is pretty low grade. 1.8 or 2.0 here. Lots of wear, cover detached, pages are nicer, but there has been some water exposure. Was $10, now $5!
  13. Tell It To The Marines #14, Toby, 1955. This one is 3.5 or 4.0 depending on how much to dock it for the tanning covers. Good gloss, and the body of the cover is really nice. Dust shadow, tanning covers, back cover popped from both, but cover still firm. All pages there and attached, and still pretty nice PQ. Was $15, now $10!
  14. Don’t get me wrong, I love it. Duties just seem to pop up at times when I’m trying to do something else.
  15. Ugh. Getting pulled away on dad duty. Will probably be back in a little bit.
  16. Our Fighting Forces #7 from 1955. This one had some moisture exposure (see back cover pic for best idea of the extent). A little more tanning than the previous two, and feels a bit more fragile. Still complete and attached. Top staple a bit discolored. 2.0, maybe 2.5 at the best. Structurally, I think it’s better. The tanning and water exposure hurt it. Very cool book Was $35, now $24!
  17. Combat Kelly #24 also from 1954. Similar condition as the Battlefront. Solid and attached. Tanning to covers especially. Light general wear, but no spine split. Some marking on the cover. Maybe better than the Battlefront, but I am going with 3.5 again. Was $25, now $15!
  18. Trying to squeeze a few more in tonight. Battlefront #25 from 1954. Solid, lower grade copy. All there and firmly attached. Tiny spine split at the bottom. Tanning to the cover. Garden variety staining and creasing. 3.5ish. Was $25...now $15!
  19. @adampasz and @aznfevr you have both expressed interest in the Archie 65, copy B. Last night, after I got done posting, I was in a PM conversation with patriot on those copies. He had asked me a specific question that I answered incorrectly. I was in bed, and worried I had misled him, so I put copy B on hold to make sure I answered everything 100% correctly. I got the books out this morning, and got the correct answers to his questions. Because of my error, I told him he had first choice of A or B, and I would let the other go back up for grabs either way. He has chosen Copy B. I am very sorry to have dragged this out, but I needed to get him corrected info. All that said, copy A is available. My apologies for creating confusion here.
