  1. That's it for tonight, gotta shoot more. But lots more coming; more Spidey variants, ASM 400, Vegeance of Bane 1, Malibu Sun 13, some Sandmans I think, Action #643, Deadpool, Psylocke, Bruce Lee, Last Avengers Story, maybe Bloodshot, lord knows what else...thanks for looking and stay tuned!
  2. Superman #500 Platinum edition, sealed. How the heck do I know what grade it is?? It's sealed in a black plastic bag! Seriously, bag has some flaws but it's pretty nice overall. (WAS $50) NOW $40!
  3. SOLD! What If #105 gonna go VF on this one....note slight discoloration (foxing?) along edge of spine back and front, one color rub in black beside DeFalco's name on right edge. $60
  4. Hi all, I'm usually buying or selling in Gold/Silver/Bronze but I seem to have amassed some cool odds and ends from more recent times through buying some diverse collections, so here I am. Link to kudos thread is under my avatar. This could meander for a while, but I want to get started with a few tonight. First, Payment is check or money order; I do not have Paypal. First wins; tie/indeterminate goes to the thread. Returns: Sure, just notify me within three days of reciept, and get it back to me in the same shape, on your dime. Shipping: One book first class in a flip n ship mailer for $5 within U.S., a few books (maybe up to 10-12) can fit inside a flip n ship mailer that is then inserted into a legal size priority flat rate for $7. After that, stackers go in a medium priority flat rate box at $14. Canada ships at actual. Don't be listy including the little one in my head.
  5. I guess you never bought any Charltons off the rack
  6. I have no interest in these and will pay far less than either mssrs. Evans or Keller.
  7. Ah phooey! .... I say he's bluffin' .... He ain't posting no more funnybooks....
  8. A beautiful MTU#1 is a challenging thing! Congrats; what a great run to read and enjoy. Will Marvel Two-in-One be next?
  9. Hmmm, let's see...Fox pre-code crime, red sweater headlights, none on census...
  10. Joe is a great boardie and a great buyer. He bought much of the Claremont/Cockrum and Claremont/Byrne X-men run from me and was a pleasure to deal with all the way. Great communication, swift payment, top-notch all around!
  11. Joe, Since you're pretty complete on the early Marvel keys, I'd consider Amazing Adventures #1 (1961) -- predates FF1 by six months, 1st Dr Droom (aka Dr Druid). Maybe also Strange Tales 135 (SHIELD/Hydra) and Sgt Fury 13 (classic Cap cover/crossover)?
  12. Completely agree; I should have said that. The painted look was too murky and hard to follow. Had it been line-drawn by a good penciled/inker duo, it may have not gone under the radar. It made the action hard to follow. But David did tell a great story. His Hawkeye was the best execution of that character I had seen in a long time, maybe ever.
  13. Last Avengers Story as in the two-part prestige format written by Peter David? If so, what a deserving book to get some attention. It's a great read but it's been obscure for a while. If you haven't read it, it's very enjoyable.
  14. Cool! Did you read a copy? The guy in the LCS was talking it up pretty good.
