  1. Classics Illustrated #36 Typee HRN 36. Apparent GVG but amateur restoration. Note bright white paper in pix; spine was reinforced at interior, the length of the book. $10
  2. Classics Illuatrated #37 The Pioneers HRN 37. Rudy Palais cover and art. Spine rough, tape on back, but cover still attached. GD 2.0. $20
  3. Classics Illuatrated #39 Jane Eyre HRN 39. VG+, some spine wear away from 5.0. Why oh why didn't they make that tattered dress red??? $40
  4. Classics Illuatrated #26 Frankenstein (HRN 71 5th Ed). Not sure how to grade this as its an apparent FVF except for paper loss upper left inside front cover, and a slight glossy marking above the "I" in Frankenstein on the cover. At the end of the day, it's old and it's pretty. $20
  5. Classic Comics #26 HRN 30 (2nd Ed., without indicia). Calling this one fair as the entire cover is split except for the single staple, so I am pricing it as if the cover is entirely split in two, as that could easily occur, I would think. $10
  6. Here's a low-grade original edition -- Classic Comics #20 HRN 20 The Corsican Brothers. This is the original Gilberton edition, with the gift boxes ad on the back. Fair, cover detached. $5
  7. Classic Comics #18 HRN 18 (2nd edition) The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Fair. Cover detached, a couple interior folds detached, but supple and readable. $5
  8. Updates, various: 1) I have just made select price cuts to some of the pricier, earlier-posted books. Some are second cuts. 2) I am very open to PM offers; many of these books are very difficult to get comps for. I'm bouncing among eBay, Heritage, C-Link and the OSPG. Send all reasonable offers as I'm open to the idea that I could be off. 3) I hope to do a 10-book bargain matinee in a bit today: Hunchback, Frankenstein, Sherlock Holmes, etc. 4) I've got a nice stack of original editions that I hope to get to tonight. 5) Starting Monday, I will get quite busy at work for the next three weeks. The thread may hit a lull, with only occasional updates, til mid-October. Those who want their takes sooner, just PM me over the weekend and we will make arrangements. Next Thursday/Friday might be my only shipping window (my only sure one) before mid-October. Waiting is fine, but this is just a heads-up for anyone who might want their books in hand sooner. Will do my best.
