  1. Best place to sell Silver Age GCG Graded Collection?

I have about 50 graded books -- some highlights:
    AF #15 CGC 5.0

    Spiderman #1 CGC 6.5

    Hulk #102 9.2

    Journey into Mystery 83 4.0

    Daredevil #1 7.5

    Aquaman #1 8.5

Many others -- most in the 100-300 range perhaps -- some higher.

What is the best place to sell them if I want to go the auction route?
Ebay / Heritage / Hakes / Comic Connect / Comic Link?

    Thanks for the advice

  2. Anybody Use these Shipping Boxes?

These comic book "flash mailers" are about 75 cents each -- wondering if anyone ever used them or would recommend them?  I have tons of comics to sell but don't want to spend the time cutting my own cardboard.

Holds 1-12 books -- and for extra protection for valuable books will put box either in large bubble mailer or legal flat rate priority mail envelope.

I ship first class in a small box, or those flat box mailers.  Others use heavy cardboard in a plastic or other mailer/envelope.  If you use Paypal shipping to purchase and print postage, you can ship up to 16 ounces First Class.  If you use Paypal shipping, you also get discounted shipping.  I bought a postage scale long ago, and the thing has saved me tons of time and money.  Also, I have the P.O. pick up my packages at the house.

So you'd bypass Ebay shipping and ship direct from Paypal site -- or are they the same?  If I ship the 1-2 comics between two larger pieces of cardboard what exact box would you recommend?  U-Line has alot of them and I don't mind buying in bulk.

  4. THE VERDICT IS IN!  Just got word from CGC about my Amazing Fantasy #15

    CGC GRADE: 5.0

I was hoping for a 4.5 or better so I'm very pleased.  Thanks for all the opinions -- most were spot on or very close.

    Graders Notes:

Foxing full top of front cover
    marvel chipping front cover
small tear with crease bottom of front cover
small, multiple crease right bottom of front cover

    spine stress lines
