I'm in the UK, unlike a lot of you I guess. Is it so bad that they can't be gently dried out/pressed back to their original form?

Where I stored my comic books recently suffered from a bad spell of damp, leaving some good early X-Men (numbers 3-5 in fact) looking and feeling damp, with minor rippling. After taking them them out of the damp atmosphere, I'm now wondering how to restore them to a dry, flatter state i.e. the one they were in prior. Any hints and tips gratefully received.

Thanks. given that they're reasonably valuable is there someone I can send them to, preferably in the UK, who can both flatten AND block them?
