  1. Im going to say 25-28k for the corveless trimmed spiral bound tec 27
  2. That would be a marriage made in Heaven lol. Was it restored or trimmed?
  3. Coul have said it better... i still remember being the underbidder at 33k in 2010 or 11 for the coverles action cgc missing a big piece from the fromt and back of first wrap... That copy was used by a dealer boardie to complete an action 1. so that coverless which was fugly wad 33k... If i bid it woukd have been more but i stopped being the underbidder. The action 1 at 66k last year i was the under under bidder. Didnt want to push over 60k. in hindsight it was the prettiest coverless action 1 i ever saw... the one 5 years prior was fugle and missing a big piece. Its just astounding... well i rather own action 1 or tec 27 coverless than t206 honus wagner... not even the best player of all time by a wide margin... Also he doesnt relate... Hes from 1910. Hes deceased Superman and Batman have never died and are more known now than ever and will keep on living forever. Action 1 and Tec 27 transcend the hobby.
  4. we shall see. i know what im bidding. I collect pages also but most who collect completes ( sorta complete in this case) are a rarer breed. May i ask if you do own or bid on these types. I think you do not. No disprect. I bidder like me doesnt look how how much i can sell a page. I want to own the whole copy. I you are regular 20k plus bidder it would be better. Since your knowldge pages is great. Hard to speak sometimes when you dont have the real experience. Im just giving an opinion and you might be right or i might be. we shall see in a few days.
  5. I Agree to agree this time with you Wayne Tec It would have been 75k in a CGC Holder I believe it would be in less than 2 years a 100k copy... a 0.5 unerestored is 150k imho... unrestored is a different beast...
  6. https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/action-comics-1-dc-1938-cbcs-pr-03-off-white-to-white-pages/a/7139-91002.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 There you go. 66k... so if you think that the ha.com missing centerfold and trimmed right to the image and spiral holes... This one is 100k!
  7. You just said it. The bidders decide... That includes me and not you. No disrespect but action 1 brittle pages witb superman and non superman with cream to off white not close to a tec 27 missing all the bats and cf that sold in a bidding war and it had a facsimile cover( graded ling time ago by cgc and they dont allow that anymore) it presented well in holder with that fake cover. Your so called logic is flawed. Your not a bidder... you didnt even know that there was a action 1 coverles that sold at heritage. Instead of saying that a REAL bidder (me) has a flawed logic why dont you listen to a true source. 20k bidders of incomplete coverless ( the tec27 incompleteof this thread)are not the same as you with pages.... You have no say in the bidding just your sayings. woowo and are potential bidders and we say 20-25k chicago boy also
  8. Also A complete coverless is 75-100k( last action1 complete coverless 66k) A centerfold is 20k Just me brainstorming on the moment
  9. Well my offer is there. Thats why i think a complete action 1 and tec 27 are 150k books
  10. https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/action-comics-1-dc-1938-cbcs-pr-03-off-white-to-white-pages/a/7139-91002.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515
  11. so 25k max for a coverless missing centerfold trimmed to hell and in spiral copy in novemeber 2017 Lets the people who are actually bidding on these chime in. Im putting max 25k someone wants it more... i dont care. Wayn tec. If you bidding on this and want to bid 40k by all means go ahead you would be foolish. 25k tops...
  12. heritage sold one for 67k last year... in august. complete action 1.... if you have a 0.5 or can lead me to one. Ill pay 100k and a 5k finder fees unrestored tec 27 or action 1 even if its missing the back cover. as long as front cover is nice and pq is not brittle or slightly brittle. This is for anyone not just for wayne tec. Any one who can help. Thanks!
  13. Action comics 1 and tec27 cream to offwhite complete coverles copies are in this club. Next time one comes up for sale in private, buy it now or even more in auction.
  14. Perhaps.. i do consider action 1 and tec27 in there own league. Superman 1 as somewhat distant 3rd Still think bidding frenzy had an effect on it since there was a beatiful off white to white Action 1 that sold august 2016 missing just the The first wrap! It had 6 superman pages amd the centerfold!!! Unrestored CGC blue label that was a year and a few months ago With that logic that would be an 80k book amd the voldemort opy that sold last summer at heritage off white copy complete amd presented great excpet for rusty staples of action 1 sold for 67k.. that would be 100k++??? so a complete unrestored tec27 or action 1 would be the 0.5 100k club?
  15. Yes. i found it mislwading since it was a blue label cgc with a photocpy cover in the holder so all you see is the tec27 cover. I was lt a bidder i found it was worth 10-12k not 22k. bidding war frenzy imho.
  16. logic is there... Are you bidding on this book? This is a 20k book big diffrence than 1-5k superman page of an action 1. Are you Going to bid? No. I did. Received the Email from barry lf Heritage. I am a real bidder and this is my logic. when You pony up 20k for a coverless trimmed book missing a cf then you can make your assumptions. The Comicconnect copy also Was cgc and in a an old holder with a tec27 cover so it presented Like it had a cover. CGC wont allow this now. So these would have to be slabbed indivudially And purple labelled. Costing time and monies.
  17. Its not cgc... also this is trimmed and almost to the borders and aslo remove from a spiral bound. The fact that its not cgc like the other and also heritage didnt nitice the missing centrfold till 5 days before the end of auction. Cgc would have caught it If this was cgc it would be restored and the comicconnect one was not. Also page quality on this one is slightly brittle as mentinned instead of cream to off white I think woo woo is right in the 20k range
  18. Thanks for the input! Your Experience is appreciated
  19. They missed that the cf wasnt there. Thats what the email said... So they thought it was. Wish i had a screen shot of all the pics before. Im sure they would not remove a centerfold last minute. Crazy both available tec27 coverless missing cf( the one on ebay)
  20. The heritage coverless trimmed and spiralbound is now missing the centerfold.... Its now noted on listing How would that affect the value. A centerfold should be around 10-15k easy since it would complete a tec27. How would that affect the value since i was informed by the Barry Sandoval i could remove my bid since they thought the cf was there. Now reflected in listing

  22. A great Book. Just wanted to sate the history of this Book. Never said its not worth it. Like insaid in hindsight a great invetsment. I just couldnt get over it was split and reattached for a grade bump. A great Looking 1.5 2.5 or whatever you call it. A 400k ++ book a coverless copy would sell 100k so this book is a a 400-500k today and i see it rising steadly. Any unrestored tec27 and action1 are great investments and corner holygrail pieces that trasncend the hobby.
  23. This book was sold at heritage. You can look at there archives. It was a 1.5 The spine was completly split. sold for 83k in 2009. i was offered this book for 120k when 2010 it was taped up. Then 150k in 2011. This book is a 1.5 that looks higher But still in indsight a great investment that i should have bought. Just didnt like the fact they called it a 2.5
  24. The Superman 1 ended at 14.2k. A steal since the unerestored 1.0 sold for 110k and the restored one Sold for 150k at the same auction. i see it being worth 25-30k . A great stal for a complete Superman 1 coverless unrestored.
