Update: As I suspected would happen, no response from orignal buyer when it came to re-purchasing the items even after he said to let him know when it was relisted (which I responded to him that it was a minute later). I only had one of the items I didn't have to cancel but it was just a $200 item. The rest totaled $1400.... Probably for the best as I was getting confused with the all the Tariff red tape anyways and would have made a mistake somehow.

I’ve had to do that before. Essentially, cancel the order and list all of the items the buyer wants as one lot.
I have a message in my listings for buyers to message if they are international and interested in more than one item, but it’s rare anyone follows.
Hopefully, everything works out for you.
I can't do it in one lot as it goes over the $1000 limit. Even 2 items together wont qualify so it has to be seperate as they are 500-600 each. Just waitng for buyer to repurchase...My luck he will change his mind now

I started a chat with ebay to see if I could send them through their program. Turns out there is a Max price allowed for International Shipping program. Like you mentioned and what was suggested (since there were 4 seperate sales). 1 was good for the International but I was told to cancel the other three and have them re buy and check them out indivually (since I grouped them on one invoice) so they can qualify.

I haven't been on ebay for over a few years so I wasn't aware on how things changed. (such as no more Paypal, shipping choices etc). The sale is over and I need to ship. I've sent stuff overseas in the distant past but what the USPS is estimating just doesn't seem right. I went on a few "Calculator" sites and they estimate a more reasonable fee (like 19% or something). Plus I'm not sure what exactly the HS tariff code should be for collectibles. Since I'm the seller, the tariffs don't affect me. But I don't want the buyer to reject it either. I sent a message to them making sure they are aware of the tariffs and such. Awaiting a reply.

I have to send over some collectibles overseas to a buyer (Germany). Haven't done so in a while. Noticed the USPS calculation for tarif on items worth $1800, the buyer wil be charged around $1300 in taxes? Is this accurate!?! Advice please...

Tonight I was watching Days of Future Past on the DVR, and in the opening scene, when they are in the future and being decimated by Sentinels, they showed Blink, Warpath, and Sunspot in a very rapid succession. That can't be just a coincidence. Yet in the Gifted show, we know that the story is taking place after the X-Men disappeared, but clearly before the Sentinel robots were so evolved. So I have to assume that this show isn't so far in the future that it is after Days of Future Past's Dystopian future where the X-Men were killed. I think it's between. This implies that the X-men are in hiding. And Blink, Warpath and Sunspot will eventually meet up with them at some point....assuming that some master planner at Fox is keeping these time lines tidy. I believe they have to be tidy timelines...Blink, Sunspot and Warpath hanging out together in both Days of Future Past and The Gifted (at least I think these are the same characters) is just too coincidental. Of course, Days of Future Past re-wrote the future, so anything is possible now.
Sunspot is not in Gifted but in New Mutants movie. You might be mistaking Eclipse as Sunspot....

The leg subplot between Isaac and Gordon was pretty funny.
Except, he cut his leg from the knee down. The leg that fell from the ceiling had a huge chunk of thigh, almost a whole leg... Sigh

Thanks!
Have you every seen such a high charge for something that low? 15.77 GPB for a $35 US dollar value?
-
Sounds like Extortion . What would be my next recourse for the buyer.
Technically he should have been aware this would happen and nothing was discussed. I even lowered my price to accommodate the high shipping (the actual shipping cost was very close to shipping charge).
Thanks!

Oh, I forgot to add, My ebay listing specifically stated shipping to US only, so this guy went out of his way to make the purchase.

Long story short,
Sold a vinyl record to someone in England. He didn't like the quoted price for shipping so I compromised (lowering the price of item). So the final price of item was $35 with $25 shipping for a total of $60 and he agreed and paid.
On the custom form I listed the value of item as $35. Item arrived to person safely.
Get an email today:
"Hi!
Got the record, exactly as described. But I'm not so happy, I had to pay 15.77 GPB charge at the post office, because its value ($35) is on the package."My question, That does not sound right that a $35 item would get slapped with an almost 50% fee? Did I do anything wrong in this?
Thanks for any insight.

New Animated Fantasy Art Video by Lisa L. Cyr
I wanted to give you guys a heads up: Fantasy artist and author Lisa L. Cyr (www.cyrstudio.com) recently uploaded her illustrated video entitled, "In the World of Dreams & Nightmares" from an NPR (National Public Radio) storytelling festival held at NH Institute of Art onto Youtube. Her work has recently been featured in the latest Infected By Art and Spectrum.
This is a precursor to a new Patreon page that she will be launching before the end of the month where there will be some great rewards including some original art. I'll make another post when the page goes live for those who are interested in becoming a patron.
Brief Summary: "It's a time of immense change. What was once familiar is no longer. To make sense of the world collapsing around her, a young artist and writer escapes into the magical realm of her journals: a sacred place where dreams and nightmares come to call."Here is the link to the video:

Wondering, have there been many other characters that have jumped INTO the comics from other media, and then gone on to be primarily a comic book character, and then gone on to be really well known? I'm struggling to think of any. I'm sure there have to be some.
If so, would those first appearances trigger any kind of premium in the comics or comic OA, considering their origins?
That would be X-23, just like Harley, was first featured in the X-Men cartoons. She then appeared in NYX #3 which commands just under 1k for a 9.8 and as you have just seen, a 70k cover of her first appearance (not even mentioning her appearance in the Logan movie)
Sending collectibles overseas (EU) - Tariffs?

I tried many codes including books to see if any difference would be found. They all came back the same. If the value was $1800, the tariff was around $1300....I have a co-worker in Paris who confirmed the high rates with some of his purchases..
