GA: Nothing
SA: Hopefully a mid grade FF1 or a TOS 39 CGC 7.0 to CGC 8.0 (both would be even better)
ASM 1 in mid grade will likely be only for 2019 or 2020. But who knows if I can't find the proper FF1 of TOS39 and I find a really nice looking ASM 1 maybe that will be it for 2018 and the other two can wait till next year or the year after.

Get a grip people. The sky is not falling. AF15s fluctuate in price just like orange juice and blue chip stocks.
Many collectors and investors follow these threads with open minds. Let's not confuse them.
Bingo!!

1 Batman
2 Spider-Man
3 Captain America
4 Flash
5 Hulk
then Wolverine, Iron Man, Green Lantern

AF15 will do well over time and it still has done very well over the last 2 years. There is a drop off but in the end the book went up a lot anyways for a period of 24 months.

Looks like only at 7.5 and up (?)
It seems to me there were several copies offered in the 7.0 and lower range this year or am I wrong ? I do recall a handful of 6.0-6.5s but I don't follow SC22 all that closely.
6.0 and higher are tough especially 7.0 and higher.

Cerebus is a expensive pig!!

That's not true at all. There are plenty for sale all over ebay alone. They all sit there forever.

Leave the little porker/Cerebus alone!! I am going to eat him next year for Easter!!

Auction it off and see what it fetches.
Almost every Cerebus 1 sells almost right away when one comes up for sale.

Last sale was for $1200.
Very little demand for the book.
-J.
That make no sens the books increases almost yearly so demand is there.

Hurm. Years ago I met a man and we talked about the readership's inability to focus on the salient points.
The man told me that he became so frustrated that he wrote the Letters Page of the title he was writing for six months, until readers "took the hint" and began sending letters with intelligent questions and comments.
The title was Fantastic Four, and the man was John Byrne.
lollll

Correct. Very off topic. Here's me thinking someone has picked up on my comment re: later gems in the run, but no. It seems to be members hidden super power here to miss the point.
Let you slide this time on account of your avatar.
I had already said the 1st Juggernaut but in more recent times I like Gambit.

Off topic based on the age but I like the 1st appearance of Gambit.

SC22 has huge potential long term.

Hope this ends the current debate and let the book pause and refreshes.
It does. At least for 2017. Who know for 2018 and beyond.

I haven't done an Amazing Fantasy 15 valuation for a while. Since the dusk has settled. Here's my price list for unrestored Amazing Fantasy 15. Copies with nice eye a appeal/page quality are a premium these days. So nice eye appeal copies can command 5-10% more and copies with less eye you can deduct 5-10%.

The book will do just fine long term. Just like AC1 and TEC27 will as well as will many other key 1st appearances.
It is a fun book to own when you love Spidey and also if you like watching the market. It keeps you busy. For me there is no greater artwork in the SA that compares to early ASM books (1 threw 50). The early artwork is simply ''amazing''!!

I agree that an unrestored would clear 1.5M.
Not to change the subject, but even the AF15 4.0 seemed to go a for a little less than I was expecting (but was not the great deal the AC1 was).
I would have thought the AF15 would have brought another $1,000 or so. Then again there have been a LOT of those coming to market recently, so perhaps the supply is a little overweight right now.
Strong price so so much chipping and a weak spine at the left top.

Every SA key book seems way undervalued compared to AF 15. Yes there either seems a lot of catching up to do with those keys or AF 15 just exploded up in price way too fast. I truly believe it's the latter.
Most of us who have been dealing with comics for years and study trends already know that the market will always have a pull back in price when the value of a book just astronomically goes up. Everyone here has been told it will happen and certainly it did.
There are of course those who were in denial and only think it can only go up from there. To each his own.
Even if the increase in the end is 50% to 75% in each grade that is still very good for a 2 year period.

Good time to be a buyer.

Sorry you feel that way!!
