  1. Shipping: All books are CGC Signature Series Certified, and shipping is included FREE within North America, ROW we SPLIT the cost. I Ship twice a week: Wednesday & Saturday Who wins: The time stamp seals the deal as to who wins, regardless of the form of communication (including PM, or in the thread). If there is an unconditional posted (or communicated) it will trump all negotiations unless we have already both agreed to terms before the was posted. No House Of Shame or Probationary members or any others with a bad reputation of non-payment. Pricing: Although I am open to offers I do try to price as fairly as possible so offers of 20% off my listed prices will not be successful Edited yesterday at 07:39 AM by jjonahjameson11

  3. I know you indicated Flash #105 (Mar 1959) as the book that started the superhero runs, but it was preceded by a year by Superman's GF, Lois Lane #1 (Mar/Apr 1958).
  4. I don't follow too many books so I can't say for certain that there's been an uptick across the board. Just curious as to the uptick for ASM 300
  5. Cerebus 1 Scooby Doo 1 ( I have gone on record that I will pay $50K for a cgc 9.8)
  6. The OP asked for a list of 1st appearances, hence the reason for no mention of ASM 121, 122
  7. Sorry, not trying to rub it in. I love this book, and I follow it very closely. Here’s some of my collection…
  8. I’d say your $950 price was spot-on a few month ago when the book dipped briefly, but it’s been on a tear lately and a nice 9.8 copy such as yours would now go for $1100+
  9. I am always on the lookout for high grade ASM 300’s as I continue towards my personal goal of obtaining 80 copies (it’s the first book that I speculated on, and I purchased 80 copies from my LCS when it was 1st published) very recently, I’ve noticed a strong uptick in prices for the book, not just 9.8, but 9.6 and 9.4’s as well. anyone know why this book is spiking now?
  10. Raising the finders fee to $5K for information leading to the purchase of a page. Funds on hand for immediate payment 💴💴💵💵💰💰
  11. Adventure 247 needs to be on the top 10 list. id also include Showcase 9 since LoIs Lane was the 1st Showcase character to obtain her own series, and led the way for Flash, GL, and all of the other prominent Showcase characters to get their own series, too!
  12. Indeed, I didn’t like Sal’s art at first, but eventually it grew on me. I’d hardly call his work genius, but he has a clean style, and his pacing is solid. Regarding Kirby, after 40 years of reading comics, I am still awaiting receipt of the ‘Kirby Enlightenment’ that’s been bestowed upon the masses 😏
  13. In all fairness, while I appreciate what Kirby has done for the industry, I find his art to be incredibly crude and unpolished, and for those reasons, I prefer Sal’s artwork over Kirby’s.
  14. Is Tony still around or did he sell the store?
  15. In the situation you describe, all things being equal, I would consider the pencil & inked cover as the published cover and would pay at least 2.5x more for it than the pencil only version
  16. Thanks, fellas! i received a few inquiries about the Signatures, and for most copies, it’s Romita, Thomas, and Conway. There may be a Stan Lee Signature among the lot, but I don’t recall anymore. clearly, what’s missing is a few 9.8’s, and I’m looking to add them to my collection
  17. Here's some of my ASM 129 collection...can't get enough of this book
  18. My personal preference: 1. Roger Stern 2. Frank Miller 3. Len Wein 4. Steve Englehart 5. Doug Moench
