    Good morning,

Thank you for your message. Custom labels or any other services that are requested on some books and not others will indeed be separated onto different submissions just as it had in the past.  There is a glitch in the system which is not separating them on the online form but it will occur when your order is received here in the office just as it had previously.  We are working on fixing the online form to reflect that properly.  We are sorry for any confusion or inconvenience.

    Thank you!

Ok thanks for clarifying. Is there a way to have them shipped together or will they always need to be shipped separately once graded?

  2. Previously (with the old submission form), if any custom labels were requested on only a few books out of a larger order (ie. order of 25, with 5 custom & 20 regular labels), it created 2 separate shipping forms as they couldn't all be included together.  Now a mix regular & custom labels can all be included in the same submission & apparently shipped together under one shipping total... however, once received at CGC they were separated into to separate submissions.  I'm trying to get confirmation on whether they will still be shipped together (as per my original invoice total), or if they will be considered to entirely different submissions now & shipped separately (causing unexpected shipping charges).  Hoping for an official answer here, thanks!

  4. That's interesting to hear about FedEx clearing it through that easily for you... maybe that's what I'll try as well next time, but aren't you concerned about the $100 insured limit through FedEx? USPS (shipped within the US & then brought across by me) at least has full insurance coverage.

For the proof of origin, the border office just provided their stamp on the original CGC order form (which I also made a copy of), and then I sealed up the box in front of them for shipping (they didn't even ask me to take out the comics which would have been a huge pain).

I'd be interested to here other fellow Canadian's experiences, especially if there's any other's concerned about the $100 limit... maybe it's not a big deal?
