Well I got my books back from my first ever submission and signing with CGC TM sig series.  Submitted ASM CGC 9.8 300 and 316 newsstand.  300 came back fine.  316 however returned signed but downgraded to 8.5.  completely robbed and feel conflicted about ever doing this again.  What are my options?  Eat it?

When I do signature series submissions through CGC i almost always pay the $20 for the CCS service.. I dont think i'd use them for normal cleaning or pressing, but if the artist is going to handle the book during the signing theres an increased risk that something dumb happens, i'd rather waste $20 than be stuck with a massive downgrade.

  2. I'm guessing that I know the answer, but as they say it can't hurt to ask.  My wife and I are huge Tom Whalen Collectors with several of his Posters framed around our house.. He recently did a variant cover for Image's Dark Ride #1 that i'd love to get signed and graded.  However, he says that outside of the occasional appearance he does not do Conventions anymore.. So I'm wondering if any witness out there has a relationship with him and could witness a signature or two for me?

    Thanks in advance!

Got notice my book has shipped after 2 months and some change at G/E/I. Never had a book stuck at this stage for this long so this was fun.

Is anyone else still waiting? My Thor 337 has been at G/E/I since 9/13/21 and no movement. I've corresponded with CGC twice over a month span and their reply is "we'll give them a nudge down there and get that moving". Since this signing happened 4 months ago, and people who entered G/E/I in this thread have received their books, I'm getting concerned.
