current turn around rates at CGC
onlyweaknesskryptonite replied to MarkDAnderson's topic in Comics General
I do understand that. Have several sitting there myself. Just nothing better to do than since we are all just waiting on them to play catch up. Which the constant wave of in house signings and cons starting to open up will probably not happen any time soon. No need to get all riled up. Xoxo.. Aka The Irrelevant One.. -

This week in your collection?
onlyweaknesskryptonite replied to Currin Comics's topic in Comics General
That is really a neat find. The First Appearance you are referring to is interesting enough the day after your newspaper dated 12/27/37 ( even though the cover sports a November 26 date) was the First time that Walt Disney appeared on the cover of Time Magazine it also features him with Snow White figures of the Dwarfs. Congratulations on the find! -
THE 2021 SKETCH COVER MEGA THREAD
onlyweaknesskryptonite replied to ivdyer's topic in The Signature Room
One thing I have learned when communicating especially when money or business is involved is to really stop and think it over. When using email or the like I will write out what I am thinking and save, but not send it. I will walk away and come back to it later . Then I will reread what I wrote and think of how it will be perceived or interpreted by the one I have addressed it to and adjust/rewrite as appropriate. Unfortunately things like social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Etc) have made it to where most get comfortable just saying whatever comes to their mind and posting it immediately. Which tends to have the opposite effect of what most people intended with their comment due to interpretation. -

Comprehensive List of DC Universe Logo UPC Variants
onlyweaknesskryptonite replied to revat's topic in Copper Age Comic Books
Those are not as expensive as some of the DC Universe Logo. In addition to the Bat Symbol and Zero Hour Logo , There is also the Bullet Logo and if you really want to add to it the Star Trek Logo. Congratulations on your haul and good luck! -
Copper's Heating/Selling Well on Ebay
onlyweaknesskryptonite replied to fastballspecial's topic in Copper Age Comic Books
Two very different animals with different collecting & fan bases, IMO. And definitely not a meaningless variant to Sandman fans - of which there are plenty. I definitely agree with both of these statements. I was only drawing a correlation between the fact that one person said they were not worth what people were paying 20 years ago and still the price went through the roof. Which I agree that the Sandman definitely has that same potential to go WAY up in value. 20 years from now anyone who had a copy of the Sandman will look back and think why did I let it go for that..
