I've love to hear what you guys thought about the issue. When I read it a few weeks back, I had to take a pause at my desk before reading it again. I feel it was a pretty fantastic way to end the series.

It was awesome!  Sad to see it go, but I think they'll revisit the Invinciverse in comics somewhere down the line.

Ottley will probably get tired of working for the big 2 after doing it on his own for almost 15 years.

I know, I know...in and out for quite awhile.  I just didn't think this red-goblin thing was really that big o' deal.    The lemming population is increasing at astronomical clips.

It is and that's a large part of what nearly killed the industry in the 90s.

Is it Emerald City you are talking about?  The speculators buying all the copies right when the shop opens is turning me off to the thought of buying new books to read.  I've seen dudes buy every copy of "hot" new books there for a while now and it's annoying.

I went there the day Ice Cream Man #1 came out at 11:30 and they were sold out.  Bummer that I can't get a copy to read thirty minutes after a shop opens probably because some dude bought every one to flip on eBay.  Feels like the 90s again.

I should have a copy of ASM in my pull though.

I haven't reread it in a few years, but I remember Dynamo 5 getting to me at times. It was a generally fun, classic super-team book but with a nice modern twist (a few twists, actually). I liked the idea of finding out you actually had all these unknown brothers and sisters, and that this guy who you venerated as a pure hero, turned out to be the flawed man who was actually your father.

Whether it gets you emotionally or not, it's still a great series.

Yes!!  Dynamo 5 was a good one!

I'd also recommend Dynamo 5 and Noble Causes (NC) which is also a Jay Faerber book to anyone who wants to read more stuff similar to Invincible.  NC was a bit more emotional than D5 for me because it was more of a soap opera type book rather than straight up super hero book.

Do a lot of books actually go down? I thought they saw spikes than maintained... then spiked again.

This book is a different animal simply because of the following it has. We are a small group. When people find out how good this book is, they are going to want it. They will have a hard time finding it though.

I always thought that if there was any universe and comic that could challenge Marvel's Spider-man or DC's Superman/Batman that it would be The Invinciverse and Invincible.  I'm still hoping this book gets the praise and exposure it deserves!  More books!
