I looked and did not see this 'unusual' auction listed anywhere. Most topics are for comics, so I am hoping this is in the right category. Lots of neat and unusual stuff.

I should stick to Playboy's ...but I do like the older movie mags

How in the world can this issue grade at 9.8 with all the obvious flaws? What am I missing?

Thank you for your time and response. I am just a little confused.....

Both reprint issues have 3 staples.

Both issues have the "Page 3" designation.

The 1st reprint has a rectangular black box (top right) that touches the top edge of the page.

The 2nd reprint has a square box very similar to the original.

It might be inconsequential, but the outer paper stock on the 1st reprint seems slightly thicker and the surface is smoother.
