I’ve said this a few times already but I’ll keep saying it until we get the news in April: CGC, please do not give authenticated books the same yellow label as witnessed books! I have a good amount of qualified books like many of you but there is a HUGE difference between authentication and witnessing. I’m praying CGC realizes this and doesn’t cannibalize their own Signature Series program :wishluck:

I'd be okay with keeping the yellow label and adding somewhere a A (Authenticated) or W (Witnessed) to it. Any yellow label without those two letters would be understood to be pre-authentication service books. I'm not at all against a different color though if that's what they go with. Just glad they're finally getting on board.

  2. I recently purchased a 9.8 TMNT Last Ronin and, when it arrived, I noticed immediate differences from anormal graded/slabbed book. The case appears to sealed only at the corners, the size of the case is larger than normal comic book casings, the font indicating the grade/bar code/ and book description is different, the sticker on the top of the case is on the outside vs inside the case on other graded comics, and the paper with all that data on it at the top is perforated on all sides and isn't flushed with the case. I took it to a local comic book shop and the owner said that is an older style of CGC magazine case but from what he saw everything checked out. I ran the barcode number through CGC and it comes back to the correct book but I'm still hesitant.  Any input would be appreciated,
