  1. Another one that came back from CGC. By Kerry Gammill.
  2. Wow! I would say you definitely got your money's worth! Especially with 2 characters. Very nice sketch!
  3. Thanks! I was sure to put the quote and who wrote it on the form... and CGC put it on the label!
  4. Arrived back from CGC. Signed & sketch by Ben Bishop. Also signed by Kevin Eastman. No remark by Eastman - he added B*tchin instead!
  5. Congrats! And on a pretty nice looking cover!
  6. Very nice! So... who do you think won that fight!?!
  7. Please anyone correct me on this if I am wrong - but I heard Todd does not do grading/witness signings at conventions. He will sign raw books at conventions - but not for grading. Again I may be wrong on this (maybe its a comic urban myth) but I have heard it more than once from different people.
  8. Everyone was a noob at some point! If the slab was one of the older ones - then chances are it probably was not previously pressed. But that's just my guess. If the slab was one of the new ones - then its probably a flip of a coin if it was or was not already pressed. Since you bought it 2 years ago - chances are it might not have been - but without finding out from the original owner you will never know. You're question is really one to be answered by you - you asked if its worth $20 for a potential grade bump (you would hope it doesn't go down a grade but it can happen). You have to ask yourself what are you wanting from all of this? If you are satisfied with Todd's signature on a 9.4 (assuming it comes back the same grade) - then it's not worth your extra cash for the press. And you're a happy camper with Todd's signature on an awesome key book. But, if you want to take a $20 gamble on a possible grade bump - then it's totally worth it. Maybe the better question for you is - are you going to regret not getting it pressed? Because if you will feel that way later - it will definitely cost you more than $20 to send it back in to get pressed & regraded again. And a color break is a color break and will always be a color break - regardless of how hard it may be to see to you. CGC will find it and grade appropriately. Only restoration will help "fix" that for you.
  9. Batman + Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles = Awesome!
  10. Recently had this re-slabbed with the limited edition NYCC Spider-Man label...
  11. Star Wars: Age of Republic - General Grievous #1 signed by Matthew Wood (voice of General Grievous) "Jedi Scum!!" This is the ONLY book on the census at this time!
  12. Star Wars: Age of Republic - General Grievous #1 signed by Matthew Wood (voice of General Grievous) "Jedi Scum!!"
  13. I used to have a CGC slabbed book where Olivier Coipel did the cover art (not a sketch mind you) - and it was reflected correctly as such on the label regarding who the creators were that worked on the book. It was also signed by him - but CGC put on the label that it was signed by "Olivier Copiel." So - they had his name spelled both correctly and incorrectly on the same label. But it all worked out in the end - I sent it to CGC and they fixed the label for free and all was right in the universe.
  14. My Amazonian Princess is finally home! Sketch by Mark Brooks at Denver Pop Culture Con.
  15. Signed by Ray Park! This is the lone SS 9.8 in the census! - "At last we will have revenge!"
  16. Signed by Ray Park at Denver Comic Con! "At last we will have revenge!"
