One of the very first comics I ever read, Amazing Spider-Man #42. Picked it up off the comic rack at a drug store. I still remember the image of Mary Jane, standing there at Peter's door, saying "You just hit the jackpot, Tiger." That's why Romita Sr. is the quintessential Spidey artist for me.

Let's not overlook the outstanding covers that Dave Johnson has produced for this series. Let's just hope the team of Risso/Johnson continues for the entire series. When the series is finished, I am hoping for a HC book featuring all of the covers with commentary by Johnson and Azzarello. It would look nice next to my Preacher and Sandman covers books.
Whats the best comic you have ever read?

HAHA! That's it! That's why, in Spider-Man 2 (the movie), MJ says, "Go get 'em, Tiger."
