Well I got my books back from my first ever submission and signing with CGC TM sig series. Submitted ASM CGC 9.8 300 and 316 newsstand. 300 came back fine. 316 however returned signed but downgraded to 8.5. completely robbed and feel conflicted about ever doing this again. What are my options? Eat it?
I believe you sign away all rights to complain about that when you submit it. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like a rare occurrence.

What tier do In-House Signing books go in as over at CCS? It seems like mine have been sitting in the "Received at CCS" status for a couple months.

Mostly interested in a Frenz cover and a quality Pollard page, but always looking for great 70s-90s Thor stuff (and newer stuff by exception).
Send me photos of what you've got.

biggest revelation for me in seeing the McFarlane video posts is the amount of people that use CGC’s window bags
I submitted mine in person for this at a show, and the CGC guy helped me put my books in those bags. It wasn't optional.
With all I've seen so far, I'm dreading seeing them come back with all of the goofy colors and sloppy signatures and book damage.

Are the cases for the Hulk 180 and 181 cracked?

Thanks for your reply. You reminded me that one of the best parts of the show after driving up from Maryland was talking with other collectors while we waited to get in. Not a lot of local collectors where I'm at.
Best,

I overall had a great time at the expo. A lot of fun to chat with the guys at the tables that were there mostly to show off their stuff or take offers too good to refuse :) You just don't get to see that great stuff at any other time.
What was very disappointing was to arrive early and get one of the first entries into the show, only to see dealers walking away from Mignola's table with stacks (one very fat stack) of art as the doors opened. Some of it is already showing up for resale on their websites. If I had know that was going to happen, I probably would have skipped the show, or at least lowered my expectation of being able to buy Mignola art. All that was really left (I was 5th in line) was sketches and covers.
