  1. There is a lot of information online about the new Hotel at Disney Paris that is Marvel and New York themed but they also mention a permanent exhibition called The Jack Kirby Legacy Gallery which consists of 21 original covers drawn by Kirby.  Has anyone heard about this exhibit? Are they originals? If original, where did they obtain the art? Has Disney been buying or are they donations?  Looks interesting and hopefully something similar is coming to a Disney Hotel in Florida and/or California. Thoughts?

Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will also include a space dedicated to temporary art exhibitions, housed in The Jack Kirby Legacy Gallery, that will showcase artworks for limited periods. This area will also offer a permanent exhibition dedicated to Jack Kirby himself – the "The King of Comics" – with 21 comic book covers drawn by this legend.

  2. I am looking for art by Tenny Henson for the 1970's Shazam Comic. If you have some to sell, please PM me. In addition, if anyone has information about this artist, please post as there doesn't seem to be much  bio info. Still alive? Thank you, Mike

  3. I added this wirephoto titled PURPLE HEART HOMECOMING to my collection a couple of months ago and it shows a Red Cross Woman handing out comics to happy Purple Heart GI's. It is interesting that there are two issues of Action 80 which is the same basic cover as the Red Cross version of Special Edition Comics. (Special Edition has Navy language printed on top and I dont beleive is numbered and also has a different back cover) The picture appears to have the actual Action 80 and not the Red Cross rarer version. Batman 26 is also in the photo which backs up the date of this 2/19/45 photo. Action 80 was cover dated 1/45 and Batman 26 is dated Dec44/Jan45. Happy Holidays to All who view this listing.
