Thanks for your input. I was hesitant to call it 2.0 with that much water damage, but the books just look so nice in the bag. They are remarkably consistent, as if an entire box was completely submerged and then carefully dried. Here's two more from the same collection:

Any opinions on how to grade a book in this condition. I have about 50 books from a collection all in similar shape: added staples, heavy water damage. Thanks in advance.

Heck, I think my average grade was about a 2.5/3.0 when I first completed but I love the challenge and for a dozen years I’ve tried to upgrade. Still have many I’d like to get better copies of, but starting tomorrow and for 40 days and nights , I will post my run as it stands now
