Tell you in a couple of days when I get it in the mail.

Thanks! Used CCS to press

Graded this one as much to protect it as anything else. Came in about where I expected (although I was hoping for higher).
2.5

Avengers 26 grade popped today. That one got an 8.0.
Oversll pretty happy with both grades as they both are at the upper end of what I hoped for.

Thanks for all of the feedback.
Had CA 100 pressed before grading and so sent Avengers 16 in separately. I'll post Avengers 16 when I get it in a week or so.
CA 100 grade popped today and I am pleased to say it came back a 9.0!

You will be able to see the grade after it actually ships. You should notice a change from "graded" to "grading/quality control" and then to "shipped/safe." You can see the grades after it's marked "shipped/safe."
I hope this helps and welcome to the boards.
Thanks!

Sent one in and it has been in graded status for nearly a week but no grade when I look at the order detail.

Bump for more comments. Are the bends in the bottom back left and bottom back right corners something that a press would fix?

One of my favorite CA covers. I’ll guess 7.5.
Looks great no matter what the grade is though.

Sorry second cover image is from before I cleaned the scanner. Not sure why it popped up or how to remove it.

Scanner. I will let everyone know what grade it gets along with Avengers 16 and CA 100.
Appreciate the feedback

Got it. I assumed they would put it in a CGC slab. Just let wasn’t sure if they would take it out if the old slab or if I needed to do it.
Not sure I trust myself to take it out of the old slab without damaging the book.

Does CGC have a service to reslab comics graded by another grading service?
Understand the grade may be different but I would think they would be in the same range.

What is the best way to determine declared value for a grading submission?

Getting ready to send CA for grading. Question because until 2 weeks ago I had never heard of pressing - would the bend in the back upper left corner benefit from being pressed? If so is it worth my while to do it?
Thanks!

Unfortunately it is indeed chipping.

I appreciate everyone's feedback. As I have said, I am new at grading and I miss a lot of things that as you guys point them out I say "how in the world did I miss that." Hope to be better at it soon so I can offer opinions on other books. Interestingly, I tend to see the flaws more clearly on scans than I do looking at the books themselves.

I presume since this is a grading site Chat Room that everyone here is a fan of grading books. I have been slow to buy graded books and have (as of yet) never submitted a book for grading mostly because once graded it is no longer available to be read. My question (and point me to a different Forum if there is one that is more appropriate) is this - do most of you also have a lower grade version of your graded books in the event that you ever want to see the inside or do you strictly have graded books?
I struggle with whether to ever have this one encased for two reasons - (1) not sure the condition warrants it and (2) not sure I would ever be able to get another version of this one in any shape.
Just curious.
How can I get a graded comic reslabbed?

I bought a comic that has a larger scratch down the front of the case. How can I get it re-encased?
