Thanks for the heads-up, LGC. The SSalefish cover is pretty cool. The ComicXposure one isn't my cup of tea, but I do like the change of pace. Though it still feels familiar. Maybe reminding me of Danger Girl #2 just because of the angle and the bathing aspect.

Well, dang. I was all set on not buying this, but I don't think I can resist that Spider-Man #1 homage cover.

I wanna buy his Black Cat #1 set coming out, but I feel like I keep getting burned by re-releases and re-re-releases on some of these books where more and more cover options come out. Yeah, I save a tiny bit of money on the front end, but I also like to buy 2 sets and then flip one to help offset the cost. And unless you're Johnny-on-the-spot these days, that doesn't really work any more since "selling out" on the first day rarely actually means it's sold out.

In fact, everything except signed A&B and signed C&D sets are still available 20 minutes after going live. That's kind of surprising. Although I do with this was 8 different covers instead of 4 standard and 4 virgin with recolors.

Unsigned ASM # 14 Ultra sets were gone in 2 minutes originally, but now show as available again at 11:19.

Domino #1 sold out super fast. So did the Ultra Danger Girl: 20th set. The signed ASM: Renew Your Vows set sold out in just a few minutes, too. Wish I had gotten the Phoenix: Resurrection  when it was sold by him with the 15% off discount code. From what I recall, the original listing was $210 for the signed set minus 15% if you had a code. I had to piece my 8-cover set together from a couple of eBay sellers and managed to get it for $270. Still $100 over original retail, but better than what it could have been.

Yep, those are gone now, too. I honestly wanted the unsigned sets so I could have them around for a CGC SS opportunity someday, but I like his COA packaging and didn't want to risk missing out. I even had time to go back and find the Renew Your Vows #11 Black Cat Cover A and add it in with my order, too. $16.00 total shipping for 2 signed sets and the RYV book ... worked out pretty well!

I went for the signed sets. $42.50 premium over the unsigned, but they tend to not sell out quite so quick. Unsigned were gone in 2 minutes. Signed were gone in 5. You can still get the two 4-book unsigned sets for only $6.80 more than the 8-book set was listed at, though.

Just curious, when buying JSC website exclusive sets, do you guys prefer to buy the signed sets or unsigned? If unsigned, is it because of the cheaper cost, cleaner look without the sig, or because you want the chance to get a CGC Signature Series signing with it later?

Thanks for the clarification on the set limits, Ex. Pretty sure there is usually a smaller cap for the first few minutes it's live, then it goes to the larger quantity cap. When I ordered my Domino set, it was only 1 set per order for the first 15 minutes (or maybe 30?). Then again, I was trying to order during halftime of a kid's soccer game, so who knows how muddy my mind may have been.

I'm surprised there is a limit of 2 sets per order instead of 1. I wonder if they'll post an additional limit for the first 15 or 30 minutes.

When there is a 1-set or 2-set limit, does that mean of EACH set, or total number of any sets, regardless of if they're the same or not? 

Along with single covers of Avengers 8, Renew Your Vows 11, and maybe some others. Though without coupon codes, the JSC prices are higher than eBay prices for most of the books (you'll still save a few bucks on the Phoenix set buying from JSC over eBay right now, unless you want to take your chances piecing together a full from multiple listings).

Phoenix Resurrection 8-cover signed set is back in stock at JSC's website tonight, FYI.

Thanks for the info! Interesting that it's the unsigned packs that sell out first. I would have thought that signed packs would be the hotter item. But I guess if you're wanting to CGC, unsigned is probably the way to go so you don't get a Qualified grade.

How quick did the ACBD signed set sell out? Faster than the ABCD unsigned, or did the unsigned go out first?

Question - when JSC's website puts sets on sale and they're limited to 1 for the first however many minutes - is that 1 TOTAL set, or could you checkout with both an unsigned set and a signed set at the same time? Or with an ABC set plus and ABCD set?

I'm loving that the Domino covers are all so unique so far with different poses and not just variants of costumes in the same pose. Here's the C cover preview.

Just curious for those who ordered the Renew Your Vows signature ACBD set ... what were your numbers? JSC didn't list the actual copy numbers next to each book this time, but my ABC covers were in the 130s to 160s. My D cover was # 010, however. I'm wondering how many he actually did.

Interesting. I saw the pencils of Cable and Wolverine on his FB page, but I didn't put two and two together. Especially since he just posted this the other day. I figured it was for his Domino cover, but maybe it's going with the Deadpool he just posted this week. Or maybe a future Domino cover. Guy does so many covers, it's hard to say.

Edit: Just noticed this Domino sketch was tagged with #xforce, as were his Cable and Deadpool sketches that also had each of the other characters' names tagged in them, as well. So maybe coming to a future X-Force cover?
