  1. Thank you all for your time and once again sorry for the poor picture which I am in the process of fixing. I hope these new pictured of the corner are ok. I think their was a crease there which does break a bit of colour on Nelson pink shirt.

  2. Thanks scburdet for the grading. I'm considering but bit of a chicken as I do have quite a few raw silver, bronze and copper age in high grade and as I'm in London, UK but then I do want to protect them. I was considering taking them to CGC HQ using their walk through service but I'm worried that they would get damage by the custom agents as last time I travelled to the US they broke the lock on my suitcase.

  3. I purchased this comic over 20+ years ago but I was told at the time some resto was done but can't remember what and any records I had is long gone in a old email account which is unrecoverable due to company no longer running. Anyway would welcome any comments on grade and whether it is worth having it graded. I am pretty sure it hasn't been trimmed as I did compare the sizes to several other silver age comics.

I will be posting many more treasure that were all purchased around the same period.

Thanks in advance to all opinions and suggestions.

  4. Hi shadroch

it is true things are a bit different but unfortunately not the speculation and variant craze which was the main reason I gave up collecting and sold my entire comic collection mid 90's.

I did make some cheap purchase of some pretty high grade key silver and bronze age comics just after the market crash and then stopped as I picked up another expensive hobby namely Star Wars lego. So I have been pretty much missed out on the modern age.

  5. Hi

I'm new to the forum but would like some advice. I was going through my comic collection which I bought over 20 years ago and I had multiple copies of X-Men 1 vol.2 and on one particular copy I notice that the bottom staple was misplace. The bottom part was inserted properly into the middle but the top was placed diagonally onto the cover.

I'm curious how CGC would view this defect and would value any input from the community.

    Thanks
