Yeah, S4 is a favorite of mine. I also visit a D&D forum called Dragonsfoot and one guy took the cavern maps from S4, digitally cut it up in order to create more space between the various encounter areas. he did it as a way to flesh it out more. very cool idea

Good point. I thought it was Eddie in WoSM 18. I have not read it since I was a kid. It is funny how fickle the market is with "the key" 1st appearances. The fist in bandages hitting a wall in Superman MOS #17 is enough, but a full page with Carnage in ASM #360 does not count. Edited April 21 by kimik The first appearance of Venom's forearm as I recall I don't remember. There was a story behind that arm appearance and then Venom not showing up until years later.

Loved that series! One of the most underrated characters ever created. Rom was one of the first series I collected. Bought Rom 20 from a convenience store while on vacation at Cape Cod. Still have that copy.

I never stopped! The closest analogy I have would be starting to seriously collect superhero comics in 1981. Prior to that, I read comics but didn't try to keep them in nice shape.

I'm a big fan of the idea of transitional ages. I love the idea of Atomic coming between GA and SA and I love what is jokingly referred to as Cronze or Bropper as the transition between BA and CA. What I would not be fond of is CGC having the only say on the creation of Atomic Age. It's not up to them solely

You can also ignore someone's sig by selecting the little x at the right end of the signature box. It's right under the "Like this" button. However, it doesn't always work for me
