To my amateur eyes, that looks pressable. I do see a white tick/tear in the mountains on the back cover center left. That's going to hold you down to 9.4±0.2 as an upper limit (probably 9.4). Maybe 9.0 as is.

Hello!! Allready talked to my presser and It seems Thats a pressable crunch.

The mountains its not  tear ( has to check twice 😅), its the image.

Without that what do you think?

  2. Hello!!
Just bought my grail, Marvel Spotlight 5, in an old cgc case (2005)in a 4.5.
The case IS that the top label IS missing.
The Seller IS a store, and they can do a full refund( the book was a deal). Or reslabb the book for me, for free.
My questions are...IS It normal that the old cases loose the top labels?
Would you get a refund or just reslabb the book?
Or just get the cost of reslabb as a refund or store credit?

For last, can CGC send a top label? Since in these old cases, that label goes on the outside?

    Thank you very much!!

7.0/7.5.  That crease on the upper right corner is a grade killer.  Not sure what I’m seeing on the top edge of the front cover either...

Its like a strecht ares but its all attached at the back no tío at all...dont know how can be done, but its there.

It may get higher. Depends on the grader. The deep spine crease on the back and corner ding look more severe than than most.

    Thank you very much!!

After a C&P i think at least the spine crease Will benifit from that.

We will ser what happens, Saw some YA1 getting some good grades with similar problems...

8.5 or a bit higher could be possible after a c&p. Worth a shot for this one but do a full c&p not just a quick press IMO.

Yes, i Will definitly do It, It should improve the spine ticks a lot.

I just wish there was a grading company in Europe...

Its very expensive to send the books, and wait forever for them to come back. So i just send the ones that have a shot.

    Thank you once again.

If it is dry (like something dry and crusty that you can feel has texture), sure it can come off. Youtube has plenty of people doing stuff like that. .Practice on junk comics then go for it. Or have someone who is pro do it.

Thats exactly how It feels, dry and crusty. Im afraid of doing It myself, since the book is in quité good shape. I Will try to get it to a profesional. Not easy tough living in Spain...

If it is dry and superficial, Absorene may lift it off, but you would want to be careful. Most professional pressers offer a dry clean service as well and would be able to give you a better assessment.

Thank you very much for your response.

Yes its dry and it seems superficial since It didnt came through the front cover to the pages. I Will try to get an assessment from a profesional before doing anything.
