Thanks for the books, bombproof packaging!

I really enjoyed it, I'll be back next week.

Movie was excellent, go see it.

I love this shiz

I love how people can extrapolate the plot of a two hour movie from a two minute trailer and leave themselves disappointed. Clever people.
No different from extrapolating the plot from a 2 minute clip and then recommending it for an Academy Award. Doh, c'mon man that's what the trailers are for. Generate buzz and conversation.

The trailer blew chunks. Hoping for the best, anticipating the worst. As with everyone, I too have been hoping for this story to make it to the big screen. I guess we'll all see what Mr. Director is made of.

Andy sold me two books and they were exactly what he described. Stand up guy!!!! Thanks again.

I thought it was entertaining but could have been better. I will at least watch a couple more episodes. I did like the extremis tie-in from IM3, but the only way I see this show surviving is if they have some marvel superheroes. Even a cameo from RDJ would have made this much better.
Yup, cameo's are going to be critical to this show and keeping it in the Marvel Universe. A few toys in the opening scene is not going to cut it in the future. Nick Fury is SHIELD and has to show up at least once or twice.

Thermal, I'm up in the dc region.
HQ?? I was there a few years ago myself. Shoot me an email on Global. Anything you're looking for? CERINO on Global, there's only two, and it isn't her.

Hey Brother,
I'm a Coastie too. Where you at? I'm in Jax. BTW, nice room.

Great transaction with Nate. Got a sweet Avengers #2 for a fair price. Thanks Brother!!!! Look forward to the next one.

This week in my collection i added a 9.8 Church and a Frazetta sketch.
Did you grab this sketch at MegaCon? I swear I thought about buying it myself. If not, one very similar.

Thanks to the good Dr. Where did you learn to pack a box?? As they say, Bombproof. Thanks for the deal.

I am very envious of people's nice comic rooms.
I find myself packed into a room with 10,000 comics and barely enough room to walk.
Do others have this problem?
I used to, but when we made our final move to Florida my wife agreed to buy a house with an extra room so I could finally set up my "space". I posted pictures previously but will update as soon as some OA gets back from the framer's shop.

I happened to check out the FS thread this morning and saw the Micronauts 9.8W for sale...which immediately brought back flooding memories of this...
I remember desperately asking Santa for the Micronauts Battle Cruiser...I wanted it so badly...think my parents had to run all over looking for it, but there it was Christmas morning...and it was KICK AZZ! I loved this thing...especially the ship could fire the two side rockets and then had two smaller firing rockets that you could attach to the tail. Plus it was motorized...this was awsome...I played with it for years...although I did loose if for some time. You could pry off the orange heads of the rockets and essential fire the "sticks" --- they flew much faster and farther (essentially you could use the rocket launchers as hand guns ...all until I decided to shoot my younger brother...mom took 'em away for a while
Anyway, this was the best toy I ever had...what say you....PS anyone else have this beast!!!!!
Loved my Micronauts. Never got the love they deserved. Spent days playing with them!!!! Great memories!!!

My three copies all have the same the same defect. One is barely there but a color break nonetheless. Hmm

I bought my spinner for $75 about 4 months ago from Borders. Mine holds 48 CGC's books perfect. 12 per row double spaced. Looks awesome!

I gotta say, in my 5 or 6 years of being on the board, I've seen some pretty awesome collections displayed. HOWEVER, no offense, but I have come to the conclusion that the majority of comic book/merchandise collectors (or at least the ones showcasing their collection here) lack any sort or aesthetic sensibility. Just sayin'
Aesthetic sensibility? I don't know what that is but you can't call me that!!! Just kidding, I always just wanted a place to put out "my stuff" and be able to go through my books and chill. I actually enjoy looking at other people's aesthetic sensibility or lack thereof. Now back to our regular programming.................................

Not me, I keep my vault locked up. I have 3 crumb snatchers that would love to get their hands on my 3.5 #181. ;-)
