I had an ad on Craigslist to sell some silver and bronze-age comics last fall. I got this e-mail..... "Hello, I am in Atlanta, I am a big collector and I want you entire collection...will pay cash or certified funds as early as tommorrow, wednesday......please call me at 203-273-6698 Greg (I work the deals) and my Atlanta partner is Dave (he will pick it up and inspect) 404-502-5944 Thanks, Greg" I met with the Atlanta guy Dave (ex-special forces operative) and he looked over my books and liked what he saw but they never pulled the trigger on the deal. After a week of phone calls and a second showing of the books I got sick and tired of dealing with them and I told them I was just going to keep the books. I got repeated phone calls but decided it was in my best interests to steer clear. They were a big waste of my time.
