I had this book fall in my lap while saving for a DD #1. I’m sending it off to be pressed, cleaned, and then graded. I’m hoping it’ll cover a chunk of the costs of a DD1. Any opinions as to the grade would be appreciated. I took a closeup of the worst flaw.

I have a Tomb of Dracula #10 CGC 6.0. It has a few defects that could be pressed out. It also has a 1/4” tear on the cover. If the defects can be removed, is it possible to get a grade bump with a tear? Or have I already maxed out my grade. I’d hate to spend $100, just to get the same grade or worse.

There are spots inside this case. No it’s not newton rings. What could it be? I’ve already tried reholdering the book and it actually came back worse. It also can’t be from the book, if so it wouldn’t have received a 9.8.
