Differant topic....
Just curious, what is the status of issues #5 and #6 from Dark Horse? They seem to be scarcer than other issues.....

Was the thegoon.com website even up and running in 1998?
From the scans bcruze posted, it looks like it is a self contained short story as published in Dreamwalker #0, and if it was still a self contained short story in issue #1 of the Goon as implied by a couple comments mentioning it as "the last story" in the issue, then Dreamwalker #0 should be considered the first appearance, which was then "reprinted" in the Goon #1. Unless, of course, there was another short story published which also predated the Avatar #1 issue of the Goon AND the Dreamwalker #0 issue.......

So, is the Dreamwalker story actually a short story reprinted in the first issue or just a preview of a segment of the full story from The Goon #1 (Avatar).
Sorry, I do not own a copy of the Avatar issue #1 or Rough Stuff, so I can't look myself.

comicbookdb.com has always had the Dreamwalker #0 as the first appearance of the Goon (and Frankie):
The Comicbook database is where I ran across the information regarding it. Unfortunately, databases are not always accurate and it is nice to see some actual confirmation of the appearance.
Thanks for posting the scans, bcruze.....

I am new to collecting Goon comics, and I have not read ALL the way through this thread yet, but I wanted to ask a question.....
What is the status of issues of Dreamwalker #0 (1998 - Avatar) which contained the first Goon short story?
Does anyone know how many issues were initially printed?
Have any been CGC graded?
I have yet to see even one show up on ebay since I have become aware of the comic.
Thanks,
Steve

That inaccuracy caught my eye when I read the description as well.... then again, expecting all ebay comic sellers to be aware of the actual release dates for the comics they are trying to sell might be a little unrealistic....
(EDIT - read the above comment with the intended heavy sarcasm)
