Has anyone submitted a graded comic to a signing and came back with a lower grade. I'm contemplating sending my copy of x-men 266 for the Claremont and Rubinstein signing. It's a 9.8 so I'm being a little cautious because what if it comes back a 9.6 or lower.

Thank you, I've done that but was hoping maybe someone had one in their collection and show a different type of remark and signature.

Does anyone have an example of John Romita Jr. signature and or his remarks?

Has anyone submitted a book for any of the artists that offer remarks? I was wondering what do you ask for in a remark, do you go into a lot of detail about what you want or what I was thinking just leaving it up to the artist choice.

You know what, your right I've been sidetracked and haven't paid attention where im posting these questions and what this page is exactly for. I am new to this not to CGC but the forums so I thank you for setting me straight.

I don't know how mixed up all the books must be because im assuming every single person that sent a book to Jim Steranko singing pressed them first because I keep seeing later singings by the other artist already getting graded and shipped. Did the books get lost I just don't understand why every single other book is getting pressed graded and shipped and all these books are events after Steranko.

We keep being told pressing is after signing, ok we get that. So why is our books being billed by CCS before signing when we know the usual practice. Your books have been billed by CCS yet CGC is saying on their instagram that Mark Bailey/De La Rosa signing is tomorrow. I thought CCS bills you when they have them in hand and then begin to press the comics.

By the way part of my submission for the Steranko signing has come out of the black hole and is now in scheduled for grading.

I find it odd, did they say your books are being pressed. I haven't seen a single person with their graded Steranko books. Also were charged by ccs before they begin pressing right, yet I was charged for pressing by ccs then the status on cgc changed to received by cgc, I can only assume my books were pressed before this supposed signing they say happened.

Yea all these other books are getting graded like Shooter and Zeck that was scheduled after his signing, I've seen post of people having them sent to grading already. Yea I think the signing hasn't happened.

Is CGC adding way to many signature events that they are backed up now? It's either im checking too often but books for Jim Steranko seems to have been forgotten and left in the abyss( little bit of an exaggeration there I know) 

Has anyone had their status changed for the Jim Steranko signing? Just found out that the event has already been completed.

No, I didn't get a label. I sent in my copy of Transformers Ghostbusters #1.

Same boat. The batch I sent in first (three weeks before 2nd batch), has been stuck in SFG for 2 weeks. The 2nd batch came over from CCS on Monday (7/6), hit SFG yesterday and G/QC today. They'll be home first, it looks like. All the while the first batch sits, waiting...

Oh ok, I'm not the only one then 

3rd week my book has been stuck in grading/quality control limbo. Weirdly enough I sent two books to Clayton Crain signing afterwards I decided to send two books for the donny cates signing. Ive received one of the Clayton Crain books and the donny cates ones have been shipped but Im still waiting for this one. I like to think the book is stuck in grading for over 3wks because all the graders need to agree it's a 10.🤪

It's going to be about a month or so before it heads into grading. You can see the grade your comics received when the status turns to Finalized/Imaged/Shipped. That's when you can also see an image of your graded comic if you paid for that option. Also track your package.

No both were just grading and sig. Except the one I just received I asked for a custom label.

Im assuming. I just found it odd this one is taking longer because I sent two in for Clayton signing but I already received one of them.

I also sent two books Express CCS>CGC. My pressing took like 8-10 days. Then it was received 6/19 and shipped 6/24

I was thinking the same maybe a 9.4 with a press
