    In 1961 No. 9, Summer, Dennis appeared in a vacation special "Dennis the Menace goes to camp." In the comic, Dennis attended Kennolyn Camp. This was the actual camp that Dennis Ketcham had attended in 1956. Kennolyn is still a thriving camp today and in 2005, to celebrate our 60th summer, we reprinted the comic book.
