  1. With a heavy heart I would like to add 50s horror buff (jeremy) to the list.

    Purchased some books here:

    http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5611627&fpart=1

invoiced on April 21 and paid for them same day. They have not arrived and my PMs to him are unread and he has not posted on the boards since April 21.

After checking with some of the other buyers on Jeremy's thread I found two other buyers who have not received their books and three that did.

He has not replied to a message sent to his email addy.

I concur. And I'm one of the other buyers who didn't get the stuff.

I am the third buyer, and also did not receive my purchases.

It has been over a month, and two weeks ago the seller responded they were in the mail. Nothing has arrived, and my PMs have also been unread.

    I second the concur.

  2. I see the secret to having a PCH sellout sales thread is to list plenty of stuff at $10 -$20, start a feeding frenzy and boardies start tripping over each other to snag everything listed. ;)

And pricing to sell helps lol $20 and under PCH is on fire!

Anyone want to start a Pre-code SCI-FI thread?

    Please. :wishluck:

    OBTW - nice 84 ZX.

  3. First acquisition of 2011

All the way from Italy. This is the first time I have owned a copy from this title.

If someone can remove the '2' sticker, please let me know. I am wondering why it is there and if it is connected to being in Italy. It seems fully original.

cool book and in nice condition too! it's interesting to see american golden age comics that made it to europe. i guess the sticker may be a price tag. in 1939, 1 us dollar = 19.8 italian lira.

so 2 lira was 10 cents.

I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the info!

  4. The 7.0 copy has spine stress at the blue hat, that catches my eye every time and is a huge distraction for me.

For a book at that level, the 33% premium seems well justified as I think there is much more than a .5 point difference between the two books.

The large cash remaining couldn't convince me to be happy with the 7.0.

    I'd take the 7.5
