  1. I've passed on many nice books with rusty staples that also show slight rust discoloration migrating on to the paper. If it's just a very tiny spot of rust I might be able live with that , since many silver age books commonly have very small amounts that are imperceivable and hard to detect, even on high grade copies. Really depends on the severity and degree of spread on the staples...
  2. First meeting of Spidey & the Hulk. Second appearance of the Enforcers. And some little green dude is in there too
  3. Sadly have to agree. It's extremely likely many more Silver Age high grade books have passed through his cunning hands and been submitted over the following years
  4. We're all aware of where Daniel is nowadays and his KSH ebay account. But the better question is where is the infamous Jason Ewert after all these years? Where is he at now peddling his micro-trimmed wares?
  5. Incredible looking books Straw-Man! The colors really do pop on these issues, especially on the DD #7!! Congrats on all the great copies
  6. That is a truly spectacular copy Sweet Lou! Don't see that everyday, congrats on the fantastic pick-up!
  7. Although the page quality is obviously not visible on slabs, "white pages" typically represents the over-all health and excellent storage environment of the book over the years. I've also found that most White pagers have vibrant cover colors and inks which give them great eye appeal to collectors. Not to say you can't find that with other page qualities, but I enjoy collecting them and have paid premiums for almost all nice looking White pagers, especially tough to find ones, and have not regretted it at all
  8. Congrats Dave on this incredible accomplishment, extremely happy for you!!! That is such a beautiful run of books and I've always loved the symmetrical focus of your white page Spidey collection, so impressive and difficult to attain!! Can't stop looking at all those great issues. Took a lot of sacrifice and determination but well worth the effort. Now we'll need to find your next collecting goal once you're ready to get back to it, after a well deserved break
  9. My first instinct was to say 6.0 but the spine wear and spine creasing along with the back cover bends I feel bring it down to a 5.0. A press could bring it up to a 5.5 but think 6.0 may be out of reach for this copy. Love this cover btw!
  10. That's a gorgeous copy! The bottom right corner crease, spine wear, and slight bend on the back cover I feel will bring this down to a 7.5. The page quality looks amazing, looks like you've stored this very carefully over the years
  11. Looking at about a 3.5 on this key issue. Spine wear is considerable and the back cover does not appear to be a printers crease but instead wear and tear from handling or storage. Great Spidey books!
  12. I'm leaning towards a 2.5 on this copy. The staining, spine split, missing piece and rust on the top staple are going to hold this down from going much higher. But the vibrant colors make this a very attractive copy nonetheless. Congrats on the book
  13. Excellent points. Curious if moderators have the ability to track IP addresses? If they can tie JJJ with Danny, then we're all done here
  14. Incredibly JJJ still hasn't responded to Buzzetta's solution. Just happens to ignore that request every time
  15. Nothing but crickets from JJJ regarding this. He's still thinking up excuses why it won't work and will get back to us later.
  16. So why not show the ebay message trail between yourself and Daniel and black out your information as Buzzetta explained to you several pages ago?
  17. I must have missed those threads! Would be difficult for JJJ to create an ebay message trail with time stamp confirmation from the day of the Dazzler #1 inquiry from Daniel. But I could be wrong. Would love to see the attempt
  18. Buzzetta gave you a solution to that a few pages ago
