  1. That is another excellent point. Although PQ can be subjective, a White pager is going to attract the investment speculator and garner the bigger sales figure in the end.
  2. That's a valid point. If you happen to live in a sales tax free state (OR, NH, AK, DE, or MT) you have an advantage. Here in California I have to calculate sales tax into every bid and purchase I make! Gives me the more accurate sales figure for the book...
  3. I was also intrigued with the #51 9.0 going for over $1000.00 with sales tax factored in. The first Kingpin cover is gaining bigger attention
  4. Really impressive results! I noticed the ASM 1 CGC 4.0 with Cream/Ow pages went for approximately $17500.00 with sales tax included!
  5. Not an easy task to pull off! Best of luck Dave, rooting for you and your upgrade!
  6. For my current CGC collection it has to be both White and centered or I just won't buy it. Tough to be such a picky collector, creates long periods of waiting for the right copy
  7. You're probably looking at right around a 3.0. Too bad about the tear and rust, might even be dealing with some slight moisture damage along the rusted staple and spine, but overall a great book with beautiful colors!
  8. That is a gorgeous copy! Without the writing, you might be looking at a 9.0 copy! With the colored scribbling, probably falls to a 5.0. That right edge looks ultra razor sharp, might want to make sure there hasn't been any micro-trimming performed Beautiful book with vibrant colors!
  9. Lots of glare on those photos, but from what I can make out, looks like a nice 6.5 grade. Beautiful colors on that copy
  10. With a "private sale", how do we actually know if this Action #1 sold for the price quoted? Interesting it would sell for $50K more than the last record price. Is it a legitimate sale or possible market manipulation by savvy comic dealers with the book never even changing hands? Fairly new to GA so wondering if this would be a practice performed in some circles?
  11. That bottom edge looks like it's been sliced and diced. Is Ewert still around
  12. Yikes! Is it just me, or does that bottom edge look unevenly trimmed?! The buyer may be in for a shocking surprise
  13. Beautiful books chromium! Really admire your collection! Here are a few more from my white page collection and I seem to recall paying record GPA prices at the time for nearly every one of them...
  14. Perfect centering and spine wrap on that beauty!!
  15. Thanks Dan! I was super elated when I finally located this copy after many years of searching. I paid a steep price for it at the time (probably GPA record), but it's a keeper that won't leave my collection any time soon, even with the crazy prices going around nowadays!
  16. I found it extremely tough to locate Spidey #1 with White pages and no chipping
  17. VF prices have definitely been climbing at a rapid pace! Use to own this Bowling #25 back in the day. Now have another copy in its place...
