  1. I got mine a few days ago. I haven't even taken it out of the shrink wrap yet. I'll check it out sometime this week.
  2. Sometimes I'll put in a low bid to watch it. Other times, I just search it from time to time to see what the current bid is. When I do put in a "watch" bid, I'm extremely careful on what I type in. One time I put in what I "thought" would be a watch bid, only to realize I became "blind" for a minute or two and read the grade wrong..ie. thought it was a 9.8 but it was really a 9.6 or 9.4..That nearly bit me and came close to winning the book. AHH!
  3. They are casting the line way out there trying to get that one sucker to bite so they can reel it in and collect! Scam to me!
  4. I was using a one size fits all approach but now I want the "tightest" fit for the size of the comic to prevent shifting around. I like how World Wide Comics bag and board their books. I've bought from them and the books arrive really looking nice and they fit nice and tight in the bag and board. I think I'm going to go back to 4mil Mylars and half and full back acid free boards but I haven't quite made up my mind yet.
  5. Just ordered #50 with the Valiant Cover today. My first one was #7 so long ago.
  6. I like to post and receive Kudos because I'm not a well established seller on these boards. I sell every now and then but I hope to sell more soon. I'm just so busy with work and life it's hard to post a selling thread frequently. I want to provide the best buyer experience I can give..i.e purchase price, grading, fast shipping, books well packaged, communication...etc.. So I think for me right now Kudos helps some. I don't know how much but I think it does help for lesser known folks who don't sell that much. I always try to post Kudos if someone wants it and I usually request Kudos especially If I sell something. It's not that much effort to post Kudos if someone provides you a link.
  7. SUPER KUDOS to Jeff. Just another Steller Transaction as usual! Books arrived safe and sound and very well packaged! Books looked awesome! ..and great communication! I hope we can do this again soon.
  8. Yes, that name sounds right - Dallas Fantasy Fair. Thanks for remembering the name. I went all three days and had so much fun.
  9. First con was in Dallas in 1989. I don't remember the actual name of the Con only I had blast and spent all my money. The only trouble was getting a flat tire driving over on the first day.
  10. No movie theaters for me until next year sometime. I'll catch this one on D+ or stream/redbox it. I will watch it and see if it's any good to me.
  11. Ahh never mind...I didn't see someone else grabbed it already..Congrats!
