The three innermost wraps (interior wraps 6-8, also known as interior leaves 6-11 or interior pages 11-22) are missing.  As per their 05-22-2022 announcement, "CGC is discontinuing the use of the term “incomplete” on its label, as well as the terms “affects story” and “does not affect story” when parts are missing from the interior of a comic."

Twelve missing pages?  :whatthe:  Didn't the book feel a bit "thin" to you?  (shrug)

Thank you exactly the information I needed … oh and bought from LCS off the wall he said he pressed it and never took it out of the bag .  Probably a honest mistake on his end he is a super nice guy but will take it up with him.  Thank you again I forgot CGC new policy I for some reason only thought that was for detached covers they wasn’t noted on label

  2. Magnus, Robot Fighter 1 2/63 Gold Key. It came back as a 4.5 Green label. Only thing it says is " 3 CENTERFOLD MISSING" it doesn't mention if it affects Story line or not. If it's just a missing pinup? Is pages missing if so which ones? Dose anyone know what exactly CGC is saying with " 3 CENTERFOLD MISSING" ?  I know I have seen CGC slabs where if pages are missing it notes which pages and if it affects storyline.  So with limited information I have no clue what I have.

    any help :

    Thanks

    Hello!

We are sorry to hear that you have a scuffed slab. Unfortunately, in order to qualify for a complimentary reholder, the original submitter would have needed to report the damage within two weeks of receiving the submission. If this was not reported by the original submitter, we do require it to be a paid reholder service. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you for the information I’m a new member to CGC and still learning. I’ll just pay the Re holder fee it’s not that expensive.

  4. I just bought from my LCS a CGC slab that was graded just a few weeks ago ( so new case). So I’m second owner. They deal with hundreds of graded books so they missed the defect.  After studying my book I notice Beneath the front of the slab in the center is a smudge mark.

i know it’s on the inside of the otter slab because I studied it with a magnifying glass.  I also know this smudge is not on the comic or inner well.  The reason I know this is this inner well is loose and has a few millimeter play in it. So when I tilt the comic upside down then right side up I see the comic with inner well shift but the smudge mark doesn’t move.  So hence the smudge must be on inside of otter shell.

Now I know this smudge is there it drives me crazy every time I see it.  I’ve enclosed pictures of what it looks like currently circled in red ( and more smaller smudging in other parts) and what it’s supposed to look like ( labeled “Good” )  The area is suppose to be all black not the smudge and hazy.
    Please  help

  5. I got a CGC slab that was graded on 05/19/2016.   There is no inner well.  Was this done during this time period?

I am not the original owner.  The problem is the bottom of the slab is split and book is no longer protected and flat in the case.  My understanding CGC sandwich it between to Mylar sheets and relying on otter case to hold it together.  Since my case is split at bottom it’s no longer flat and protected.

    The book itself looks fine.

Can I pay to get a Re holder??

    thanks for your help.

  6. Confused. If this cover printed only comes with a legitimate Signature then where is the even slight chance of fraud?  Meaning I can’t go but this cover without a signature and sign it myself.  This cover is unique to this promotion.  I understand stand others change of command but in this case don’t understand why people think there is even a chance of fraud.  I would think since this cover printed only Exist as a SS it’s more secure then other books in slabs the old way.
