When you send it in, PM me this submission number, the tracking number, the packing slip number, 1 image of the comic you received and 1 of the comic you sent in.  Also, write the problem on the packing slip.  Be very specific about the problem.  After I receive your PM, I will contact the team regarding this.

Thank you @CGC Mike I certainly will, once I have everything set.

Unfortunately, I’ve now got another problem, as the cert is the old cert, it does not apply for the reholder service.

In addition, the correct cert doesn’t exist at the moment, nor does any book from that submission, as it is still marked as “QC/Finalized”.

I’ve sent another email to support@ so hopefully I’ll have another solution presented for return shipping within 14 days…

best you can do now is send it back in under the ME process (with detailed notes about both the label issue and white substance issue), hope it gets there and back safely

I think so too. Someone on Reddit mentioned he had similar fleck situation and told CGC during reholder process and they wiped them off.

I’m really hoping the flecks below Alex’s sig is a cluster of flecks and not proper damage to the book 😬

Hopefully @CGC Mike can also help/pass on the fleck problem information to the reholding team…!

let’s start with this, are you saying the last 2 images represent a universal blue label Detective Comics 1000 graded 9.8 book you sent in to be cracked, signed, and reslabbed by CGC?  I assume you didn’t crack it out before hand

The first glaring issue aside from the white spots you should be asking is why the signed book came back in a blue universal slab and not a yellow signature series one!?

That is absolutely correct. I sent that in as is, I did not crack it myself. And the signed book returned with the exact same universal certificate number & label attached.

I know the usual course of action would be to submit as an ME and get the SS yellow, which I will do, but I am hugely concerned by the dirt and possible damage to my book. Or if it is in fact actually my book. Even with the correct label, I’m not happy with the way the book currently looks.

Looking at the first image, I am seeing the same white flex that are on the signed copy, starting just below where it says "The Batman" and goes down and along the bottom more than half way across.  So, I believe it is the same book, as the dots on the blue label image match up to the ones on the signed copy.

    Hi Mike,

Thank you for replying. The first image is of the signed comic as well, with all the dots. Alex’s sig is on the goons in first image. It’s only the last two images on the superman fabric that are the original, pre-signed dot, dirt & grit-less book.

  5. Hi everyone.

I'm hoping for some advice, please? I received my books back from AR signing but not only did one have an ME, I'm convinced it isn't the same book I submitted.

l've attached images of both and as you can see, the signed one is full of white flecks and dirt/grit inside the sleeve, or potentially lots of surface damage to bottom of the book, whilst my original is clean & crisp. I wonder what you all think I should do or how I should approach this?

i've already contacted CC regarding my concerns, which they've immediately sent ME instructions but my main issue has been overlooked and I do not think a reholder will solve the it.

    Thanks very much in advance.

  6. Started a live chat after 9:30pm UK time on July 7th. Very vague, nowhere near close by the sounds of it. Can’t even confirm it’ll be this year! If he’s off shooting Deadpool 3, we should be so lucky

  7. Hi everyone,

    I hope you’re well.

I know it’s a little short notice but could I please ask for advice for this book? I will have CCS press it but I’m not hugely confident it’ll be that high.

There are a few minor spine ticks but a pretty hefty one that breaks colour. I’ve tried to photo as much of it as possible and was hoping for general thoughts, please.

I’ve owned the book since it was released and want to submit for Hugh signing but also want to temper my expectations…

A massive thank you in advance!

  8. Hi everyone,

This is my first post so I hope I’m doing it right..!

I’m planning on submitting one, maybe two books for Hugh Jackman signing but wondered if I could ask you fine folks for opinions or advice?

    I am thinking of submitting either;

    1. Wolverine LS #1 9.0, signed by Claremont, Miller & Rubinstein
    2. Death of Wolverine #1 9.6, signed by Stan Lee & Charles Soule
    3. X-Men 2 Prequel: Wolverine Photo Cover.

I’ve attached photos of the CGC ones and I’m going to see if I actually have the prequel Raw today but I’m hoping you all might be able to give ideas and thoughts on the books?

I have notes for you too:

    Wolverine LS #1 -

light spine stress lines to cover
small, multiple crease right top of front cover

This book originally was 8.0 when signed by Claremont & Miller but was then pressed by CCS for Rubinstein’s signing. Surely “small, multiple crease right top… etc” is another pressable defect that could be removed for grade bump?

    Death of Wolverine #1 -

    light scuff back cover

If you could please let me know what you think if I had all 3 books and then if I only had the CGC ones?

I don’t plan to resell immediately, everything is for the PC but I’d also like opinions on whether or not having Hugh sign any would increase the value or just waste my money?

Thank you very much in advance for any opinions and help, it is hugely appreciated.
