I suppose, but some companies grade booster packs because people enjoy collecting sealed packs. Seems to me like the whole box is just the next logical step.
Ya I collect vintage Pokémon booster packs from 96-99 and they have shot up in value now a days so ya maybe they do booster boxes somewhere but I have never heard of such a thing 🤔

There are many Masterwork volumes available as even cheaper trade paperbacks. Also, an even cheaper option still for reading material would be to look at Comixology digital collection sales, especially with Black Friday on its way. Last year I saw a lot of heavily-discounted Golden Age and Pre-Code volumes there. I picked a few up for 69p / $1 each.
I like to collect things and put it on a shelf I don't like digital things much anymore but thank you for your suggestion

Hello everyone im trying to be able to read original marvel comics without having to open my collection i was wondering which was cheaper Marvel omnibus or masterworks like i saw that buying the Howard the duck and Werewolf by night omnibus was cheaper then when i wanna read like Golden Age Sub Mariner its better to buy the masterworks because the omnibus isnt all the golden age comics its just like 3 or 4 comics and a few other comics instead of the entire series which would you guys prefer or do you think i should buy omnibus if it has the entire series and then buy masterworks for the ones that dont include the comics i want?

So if you guys are still interested i started using movie cases or xbox 360 game cases and putting those in the box and its been keeping the comics straight without any damage or putting pressure on the spines but im also putting a few boards in front of the comics before i put the games in just to be safe

One thing I've done in the past (only as a short term solution) is place several layers of backing board on one end of the box and then stand it up on it's end so it's erect like a pe...err, skyscraper. I also alternate my books front to front, back to back, otherwise the staple side is thicker than the flip side of the books. Alternatively, depending on how many books are in a box, just lay them flat until you have enough books to stand them. Or stand the books normally and then lay a 100 pack of boards on it's side preventing the books from sliding or falling over.
that sounds like it would damage the comics like the skyscraper

Sounds like the boxes aren't actually full so they are sliding and bowing from the weight/pressure of the other books. Are the boxes actually full? I'd recommend putting pieces of cardboard in the front and back of the box to stabilize it a little more. Cut pieces out of a USPS box to size.
they are not full

If the boards are curved now then they’re not serving the function you placed them there for. Are the comics starting to fall over or bow?
No they seem to be staying straight up still

I have boards i kept in a comic box to keep the comics up so they dont fall over and some of the boards are curved now should i be worried about the comics or do you think its fine?

Well it's worth pretty much the same raw or slabbed, so you might as well save the fees.

The 3 important factors for comic storage are "cool, dry, and dark." Generally the cooler the better. You will be storing those in your home however, so in very cold climates, you can't have temps so cold that your water in your plumbing pipes could freeze (and potentially burst a pipe). If you are comfortable in the room year-round, that's often a good sign that the conditions are okay.
Not really so i found an Ac and dehumidifier in one and im gonna get that i believe so i can change the degrees and humidity in one

Watch the humidity level in your room and the temperature fluctuation or you're "gonna" have negative impacts to them.
What temp would be the best?

I know its more expensive but i wanna keep my comics as best as i can its mainly silver and bronze age comics not super expensive ones
Full set of Howard the duck, Spider woman, Werewolf by night (except 32), Moon knight complete set 1980s

Which brand would you recommend so far all ive seen mainly is

If your raw books are stored properly (bagged and boarded, preferably Mylites) it does not matter if you use plastic or cardboard since the book will never physically touch the box.
If you are going to be constantly lifting/moving/transporting the boxes then plastic will hold up better, I have been using standard cardboard storage boxes since I found them in the early 80's.
If you are afraid of a destructive event such water leaking from a pipe/roof, rodents, etc then I would assume plastic will help in a situation like that, basically it will come down to personal preference.
As far as graded books, you will need separate boxes for those due to size.
Sounds good thank you

Ok, just so you know, CGC won't validate the signature. Unless you're trying to sell it I'd say slabbing it is a waste of money.
And believing what the seller says has caused the creation of many a thread here
gonna sell it later on most likely when i get older

FYI it won't get a Yellow label.
That’s fine still want it graded I belive it’s a 9.4 or so but I’m not amazing at grading but the seller said it’s in Excellent condition

Im starting to collect more comics and I’m gonna ask I’m buying a new AC in my room and keep all my comics in my closet in my room would you say to spend the little extra and buy plastic boxes designed for comics or cardboard boxes still i mainly have bronze, some silver and gonna be getting modern

The Library Editions are an expensive way to read Hellboy, but Mignola’s chiaroscuro-heavy art looks great in the larger format. Worth owning.
I have some trade paperbacks as reading copies, which were bought years earlier.
I shall buy the library ones then and keep the paperbacks for reading thank you

I see CGC videos of them handling comics and they're not wearing gloves (not sure of their specific olicy, there just individual videos)
I don't though I do wash my hands first. I wish I had done that as a kid when I first bought them
i been washing my hands whenever i bag and board my comics
Does cgc still grade magazines?
