  1. There just aren’t many slabs in high grade for that particular book and it has the ever troublesome black cover!
  2. I agree how could you go wrong! Spidey and a guest every month!
  3. So I waited and finally a high grade one crossed my path. I’ve always enjoyed this title and even had a subscription to it way back when. I had a lower grade one I picked up in the early 80s. I looked for years for a nice raw one but.... since I’ve embraced my inner slab buyer I saw a few 9.6’s but should’ve struck. Been waiting for a while and boom!
  4. Hey thanks. Over the past year or so I've really just given up on finding high grade raw silver or bronze keys or the ever frustrating DARK/BLACK cover. With that I had to embrace the slab and a lot of my wins during 2020 were those dark cover books. But when you find one in grade...wow!
  5. So I was able to avenge one of 2020 losses with this one here. Thankfully the price didn’t jump like some other books I’ve been chasing Got my 32 already. Need a nice 1. That was another one of my losses last year. I think I went punch for punch with the same person probably on that one and a nice high grade TOD 1. I did win the drac book but lost on the WWBN 1 possibly to one of you fine fellows.
  6. IM 100 is probably my favorite IM cover and a worthy grab!

Great transaction and well packed. Thanks!
  8. Lol it’s a funny movie but I’m sure the film critics might not agree.
  9. A very unknown Michael Richards starred as that character in Weird Al’s movie UHF. An 80s classic if you like bad 80s comedies. Thank you sir!
  10. I took the John carter 1 in 9.4 along with the epic #13 in the same take post. Thanks Mr Stanley Spedowski!! ( Do you know the reference?)
  11. I saw some books I was interested in from Near Mint Collectibles out of San Diego California. Any body use them? Perhaps they are on this board? Thanks!
  12. These are great books and the precursor to the golden age of vertigo. They should go!
